I made a beef Roast in big crockpot. I put in the regular things you put into roast but left room for a sweet potato on top of everything. First time I cooked one in crockpot slow cooker, it was really good.

still got a few of these great onions, but carmelized a bunch for special pie made of sweet potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and Greek yogurt. Pretty darned yummy

These onions were fresh and sliced well. I used them to make French Onion Soup. I tried them in two different methods of cartelizing the onions and the crock pot method was the easiest by far. I liked them so much I returned to buy another bag.

lonestar sweet onions were not sweet.They are very hot and seem to have a high sulphur content.

just hard to beat a sweet onion ! make sure it’s from Vidalia or you are only getting a runner up

Just wanted to day Gor Sweet Onions are the hottest sweet onion I've even had.
