Quality of components is top-notch and packaging was well thought out to avoid damage to any of the pieces. Every piece was there and accounted for in the boxes and assembly went exactly as described in the instructions. This is a super solid and heavy gazebo, so 2 adults is definitely needed to erect this building. Plan on 2 pretty full days of assembly with 2 people. The cedar looks and smells amazing.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s one of the nicest units in its price range. I love the fact that it’s appearance is sturdy. My only issues are that they use a water based stain that must be sealed to comply with the warranty. Also the fact that the instructions require the screws to not extend past the end of the hole in the wood, the screws supplied if they were just a bit longer to meet with the edge of the hole approximately (1/4” / 6mm) would significantly decrease the installation issues. Other then that I’m extremely happy with the gazebo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 14x12 Norwood kit a couple of months ago and recently got a chance to put it all together. I just followed the instructions that came with the unit and it went together relatively easy. I do have some building experience so that helped. This is a beautiful, structurally sound unit. Very pleased with how it came out.

When we moved in, we just had a basic 10x12ft patio slab. We immediately knew we needed a covered area to enjoy our backyard. This gazebo was the perfect solution! We love it and sit out back often! We strung lights and they look great. We love that the gazebo has the power option! It has really upgraded our home! We did have issues with the assembly option we purchased through Sam’s Club and ultimately had to find our own assembly company. It took two guys about 8 hours to complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had purchased a Backyard Discovery playset in the past and were happy with the product so when looking do build a pavilion we decided to order this one. We live in Northern Minnesota and wanted something attractive and sturdy enough to withstand the snow. My husband opted to stain each piece prior to building it, we put it together ourselves, we couldn’t be happier with the results.

I looked for several weeks to find this product. Everyone seemed to be out of stock. I located it out of state and had it shipped to me. No major complaints. Fit and finish is excellent. all the parts are of very high quality. I added the bench swing and some LED string lights. This is a great addition to my backyard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing that struck me about this kit was the perfect packaging. It came in a series of numbered boxes and nothing was missing. All parts fit perfectly together and we love our back patio pavilion. The materials are high-quality. The BEST part of this kit was the use of the digital instructions. I make training for a living and this app is SPOT-ON!

It was too expensive to build a percent roof covering our back deck. This gazebo did the trick. We installed a sun shade to stop the evening sun so we can enjoy the tranquility of our back yard. And cookout without getting rained on. Would definitely buy again. I put most of it together by myself. You definitely need two or three people to slide the roof panels in place.

What a beautiful product! The wife and I had long talked about having a custom gazebo built to kick off our backyard beautification projects. We eventually considered a Backyard Discovery kit because of its apparent ease. I’m glad we went with Backyard Discovery! The wood and metal hardware all appear to be of excellent quality. I can’t attest to the ease of the assembly because we hired a crew to put it together. However, it did take a small crew of 3 men nearly all day to finish. the finished product is fantastic! The family loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took me about 2 months to build, only because I completely sanded it down and stained it with an oil based stain. Had help standing up frame and lifting roof panels. I assembled it all myself. Follow directions, anyone could build it. i'm 70 years old and need a hip replacement. Very nice Gazebo.
