[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently poured a large concrete patio to replace an old deck. We purchased the Brindlewood Gazebo to add a place to escape the strong sun in the summer. We were very pleased with the entire process. Fast delivery, easy assembly, and it looks amazing. We highly recommend. Note: The majority of the build was done by one person. We enlisted help of a couple friends to place the roof and lifting of the frame.

You have to really pay attention to the detailed instructions. If you follow the directions you will not have any problems. The 2 different size washers for each bolt was painful at times but you have to follow the directions. I’m 65 years old and built this over 2 weekends at my own pace. I found the use of a ratchet strap helpful in keeping the roof panels square and did not screw the cross pieces for the roof panels until I had the framework square. I also used the ratchet strap to help pull the outside rafters in which helped with the final roof bolts alignment. This gazebo is of great quality and very sturdy. I recommend this to anyone who is handy and follows directions carefully. You truly can’t deviate from the directions.

I’ll keep it simple: after buying and returning a cheaper product from a local big box store, the quality surprised me. Excellent! There was one miscut piece in the boxes and it was Fedexed to me the same day I called. The city inspector was very complimentary about the quality of the final product. We love the new area and feeling it created in our yard. Love it!

This carport is beautiful and very well designed. Installation is very tedious. You have to be willing to take your time. The Bilt app is great, however the roof rafters and soffit pieces are very confusing and it is difficult to tell which pieces go with which. I meased this up on several panels. The green plastic wrap on the metal sheeting takes an unduly long time to remove. It is a test of patience but the finished product is sturdy and attractive. It's a trade - off!

After having a gazebo buckle under the weight of a heavy snowstorm, we wanted one that we knew would withstand our harsh midwestern winters as well as our strong summer storms. After a lot of research, we decided on the 12 x 10 Brindlewood! Ordering this gazebo was quick and easy, and so was the delivery. It even arrived much earlier than we thought it would. All the different parts and the five boxes they came in were well sorted, packed, and labeled. My husband and daughter were able to put it together without any problem because of the thorough and easy to follow instructions. Our gazebo looks beautiful and fits perfectly with the landscape of our backyard. We are looking forward to spending a lot of time in our new Happy Place!

My husband and I bought the gazebo for cover over our patio area by our swimming pool. To be honest I was hesitant at first because it was a “kit” but it was easy to follow directions and put together. It is also very sturdy and solid. It’s a beautiful addition to our backyard area!

We purchased the Norwood kit and it arrived packaged perfectly with no damage of any kind to the components. We had a family "barn raising" over the course of a few days on a new deck we had built prior to the arrival of the kit. The BILT app was amazing and helped us assemble the kit without issue. Since finishing the well-designed structure we have built a 12 foot long dining table with benches for friends and family hospitality. The Norwood design and aesthetic naturally draws people to the warm cedar environment with exposed rafters and heat deflecting solid roof. This has been one of the best investments we have ever made in our yard and for our family. (PS: A carpenter foreman friend remarked about the great quality and design of the Norwood Gazebo and was impressed by the value and family friendly assembly.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with this Gazebo that replaced the Metal one that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. Very Sturdy and has held up to the weather where we are right on the water. The electrical box already on the Gazebo made it easy to hook it up for electricity. Paid for crew to erect the unit and they were very knowable and professional.

Instructions were fairly easy to follow, installation was easy with the help of a few people and looks great put together. The impressive part is that since it was installed we've had two storms with at least 50 mph winds and one storm with 70 mph winds and the structure is intact and didn't move a bit. I had reinforced the roof a bit when installing and used some bigger anchors when connecting to the concrete but am impressed that this structure held up to the storms we've had.

Retired life in Yuma, AZ is the best. However, as the "Sunniest City in the World" with an average of 308 days of sun, shade is a valuable commodity. We chose the Backyard Discovery 16x12 gazebo for its substantial good looks. The cedar is beautiful, the steel roof is no maintenance, the power strip with USB ports was an added bonus for lights, electronics, and cooking. We are proud to show it off. This is our happy place for cards with friends, dinners, and parties. Don't wait, do it now. You'll love it.
