My husband and I bought the gazebo for cover over our patio area by our swimming pool. To be honest I was hesitant at first because it was a “kit” but it was easy to follow directions and put together. It is also very sturdy and solid. It’s a beautiful addition to our backyard area!

It is beautiful and functional and provides us with great shaded hang out area in our backyard. My only reservation with this product is the price. There are other cheaper options out there but we decided to go with this one figuring “you get what you pay for”. The roof has received dents from hail but no major problems. And it has handled several medium snows already as well (CO).

I spent a year looking at budget options for shade in the backyard before finally deciding to splurge on the Norwood 10x12. Glad I did. Assembly was pretty straightforward, there were a couple spots where the boards were warped or the holes were a bit out of tolerance and I had to drill them a bit larger to make things line up, but that's to be expected with wood. I did most of it myself, and then recruited a few friends to help me stand it up and complete the final steps. Would recommend at least 3 helpers for standing it up and getting the roof panels on. Could be done with fewer, but more makes it much easier. Finished it with Australian Timber Oil. Looks great, nice and sturdy. The building inspector referred to it as "handsome."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Highly recommend Backyard Discovery gazebos. Instructions were easy to follow and easy to assemble. I was able to assemble 90% solo. Only when the two halves were put together and the roof attached did I need assistance. Gazebo looks GREAT!

We needed some shade for our 1960’s brick patio and I finally decided on the Norwood 16 x 12. We are extremely happy with it and the beauty of the cedar pairs so well with the old brick! I had 2 friends (one was a retired contractor) help and we finished it just short of 3 days. Our patio slants downhill some so we had to pour some good size concrete pilings. We followed the written directions and the app and only had to back up a couple of times. We are using it as a cook shed and outdoor bar. We even came up with a few suggestions for ease of putting it together! Extremely pleased!!

This gazebo is so much sturdier than our previous setup and with the metal roof and electrical outlets, it provides all we need. The product installation was well documented and the step by step video tutorial made it super easy to assemble without second guessing what you were doing. A few steps require a second or third person, but for the most part it was a one man assembly. We love the look and are hoping to enjoy it for years to come.

I bought 2 10 by 12 Gazebo's I did only took twice as long to assemble But the second one went faster than the first. They look great together. I put them in the end so I have room for my pool table in the middle which is coming soon. Just picked up 2 Jack Daniel's barrels to build a bar on one end and sitting area at the other end with pool table in the middle soon to come. In a few months, I will be adding a barbecue covered area Before Spring.

We wanted something sturdy enough to handle the weather in the northeast (rain, wind, snow, heat), and this was it. We cannot be more thrilled with how it turned out. All of our friends love it! It took a few weekends to set up, and I would say to have 3 people help to set it up. I love it, and cannot wait to keep using it!
