We now have three of these collecting rain water — which we have not had because of a drought. But experience with our first one shows they work well. Set up is easy, connecting them is simple, and they are pleasing to the eye.

We bought 4 and since we have a metal roof they fill up quickly in heavy rainstorms. I love the fresh rainwater to have for my flowers on our hot Texas summer days! And they prevent the gutter water from washing our dirt and grass away in our yard too.

I like the shape and color.

Looks great on patio; serves it's purpose; plants love rain water verses chemical treated tap water.

Looks good and works well. The only issue I have is the overflow hole at the top weeps when using the taps at the bottom. This only lasts for a few minutes, but it is wasting the water that was in the barrel.

Cheap water values, let out a trickle amount of water, it filled up and bloated out at the bottom and pushed away from house. Had to reinforce it.

I bought 2, and they are great looking. However, one of them is missing the piece to screw the lower spigot in and the plumber’s tape. I contacted the manufacturer and they did respond quickly. Working with them to get the missing piece and I can handle the tape myself. It is an extra hassle, but should work out in the end if they provide the missing part.

The barrels look nice. The only problem is when they fill up the back bows and they pull away from the side of house. Now the down spouts have to be readjusted. Hoping that the weak spot in the back doesn’t crack. Should’ve just got the normal round barrels. Very disappointed.

I purchased two of these rain savers specifically for the low-profile, flat backside. I've used them from Apr-Oct 2022. The rain savers are beautiful and functional. The reason for the low rating is a failure of the rain saver to maintain its form. When filled with rainwater, the backside of each rain saver has buckled and bowed. The one was so bad, I was concerned the pressure would crack the siding of my shed. I would caution others to keep this in mind when choosing a location. Lastly, if you live in an area that freezes, be sure to drain the rain saver below the spigots when temperatures drop.

The quality of this rain saver misses the mark of the last one purchased with Sam’s by the same manufacturer. Looks like the spout (the higher one) was super glued in place with no thought to appearance. It’s not as attractive as the first but is functions properly, so thankful for this.
