I looked at this cot online several times & read lots of reviews. I ran across one in stock while out of town at a Walmart store. I figured why not give it a shot. I bought it for my almost 3 yr old who is very small for her age. She's JUST getting into size 18 month pants, and weighs only 25-26 lbs. She did sleep on it when we visited family at the beach, and just last week for camping. It has a support strap sewn under the middle. The two sides sag a LOT, way too much. So imagine laying on a cot w/ a strap holding you up like a sling at your lower back. Needless to say she doesn't lay on it that way. She lays sideways with her bottom above the middle section. Soon she will outgrow it, but can then use it for a chair with a buddy of the same age then. I would say it's worth the money to use it as we are. It could certainly use some major improvements. Firstly, remove that stupid strap & put a nice support under the whole thing & pull the fabric tight. Perhaps just double the base fabric..it's sturdy and a double layer would be nice & supportive. I wish I could modify the one we have myself, but it would take more money than just buying a better one. So I say 2 stars. Poor design, great price, temporary use for the item.

This little cot is a bargain for $20.00. Set up takes 3 seconds and it is so easy to store. It is definitely a great way to have your child sleep on something low to the floor and close to you. There is a middle support bar that might necessitate using a cushy sleeping bag or a lightweight pad if you'd like to add to your child's comfort. I like the fact that it is so portable and takes up no room in the car trunk. We go on picnics and outings, and this could easily be set up to allow your little one to take a nap on those occasions. Great for overnights at grandma and grandpa's house! A great buy.

We got this for our almost 2 year old daughter because we needed something less bulky than our portacrib for travel, since my husband's job requires him to travel each month and we go with him. We let Arianna try it out the night before we left, and she loved it. During the trip she was very happy to go to bed in it, and even jumping on it a little didn't harm the cot. Its a lot less bulky than the portacrib, takes up much less room, and is very easy to set up and take down (unlike the portacrib). The only con about it is tiny, I wish it wasn't as loose as it is. Its not so loose that its dangerous or anything, but it'd be nice if it were more taught.

I purchased this cot for my 3 year old to take naps when we're visiting relatives. I was disappointed at all the loose strings on both the cot and the carrying bag. The bag also has a section about 5-6 inches long where it is not sewn properly, but I was able to easily fix that. I was also disappointed at the nylon that is used both on the pad and the "sheet" because whenever my daughter moves around, it makes a lot of noise and usually wakes her up. Her naps are usually around 2 hours, but now they are more like 20 minutes. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent product. Use cot for my grandson who is 2 years old. He loves it. It is comfortable and the perfect height and length. I put it beside my bed and he is very happy. The portable crib wouldn't allow his legs to stretch out. No problem with him falling out of the cot either because he sinks into it and therefore can't fall out. Love it. Bought a second one for his Mom and Dad. They love it too.

We needed an extra bed when we traveled but my toddler was already too big for a crib or pack and play. She loved it and thought she was a big shot because she's got her own big girl bed. It actually helped transition her to an actual big girl bed when we got back home. Awesome product! Easy to use, portable and sturdy. We topped it with a think toddler comforter then put the sheet on top. My little girl was happy and comfy!

We just purchased this and used it the weekend we got it. It worked great, our 2 1/2 year old loved it and slept great in it. It does form around her, so it would be a little hard for her to roll out. I cant rate the durability, but the other Regalo products we have are holding up great. Its light and easy to set up. My wife had it set up by the time I got up to the room with the luggage.

I bought two of these...pink and blue...for when my grandchildren spend the night. They were a great bargain. And easy to set up. The two grandkids that use these are both 4 years old and can set them up themselves. They love to set them up in the living room so they can watch TV. Compact and fit under the bed when not in use. Durable and comfortable. Great to use when traveling also.

perfect for vacation. my two year loves it and had no problems going to sleep on it while on vacation. my kids 8, 6 and 2 even like lying on it to watch tv. It folds up easily and stores away nicely. reasonably priced and better than renting a cot in a hotel.

I was very worried about the reviews with the middle strap, but I decided to purchase this anyways and hope to fix it myself. When I got it out and opened up, they changed the model and there is NO LONGER a middle strap! The cot lays flat and my 2 year old immediately climbed on with her pillow and layed down! She seems to like it and its very light and folds up great! Great idea for those who travel or for grandmas!
