A purchase I'm glad I made

I purchased these cots because a friend of mine brought one over for her daughter to take a nap at our house. It was great, the daughter was familiar with the cot and did not feel uncomfortable taking a nap in a new location. I decided to buy one because we needed easily transportable beds for my toddlers on overnight trips. These cots work perfectly; they are easy to: set-up, break-down, are light weight and take up minimal room when traveling. I often use them for overnight (children)guests. The only problem is, who gets to sleep where! My kids think they are great and look for any excuse to sleep in them. This is a purchase I'm glad I made and would recommend these cots to all parents with young children.

Easy and comfortable

My three year old daughter loves this bed. We set it up for her to try out before we travel and haven't been able to get her off of it. She doesn't want to sleep in her regular bed anymore. It couldn't be easier to set-up and break down. It is just the right size. I feel very comfortable having her sleep on it. I don't worry about her falling off. It is such a great value! I wish I bought it earlier.

No Jumping!

We bought this for the obvious travel purposes. It was easy to set up, and we used some foam to make it softer. The only issue is that you must not let your child jump on it! Not even in the slightest. My 3 year old son easily slept in it, and unfortunatly it got broken. The things that keep it up (no Idea the name of them) but they all fell off and got lost, so the pressure was on the points where the fabric is fastened to the frame broke off! I would love to keep using it if I can figure out how to fix it.

Awesome travel bed for toddler/preschooler

I bought this for our 3yr old to take on vacation. We have 3 kids and he needed his own bed in the hotel. I read the reviews on this travel cot and most customers were very happy with it. I had some concerns about the bar and the 2 X with the "bar" in the middle. First, there is no longer a metal bar in the center. Second, the stitching in the center does create a "bar" but it is not so hard that it affects the child. My little guy wasn't bothered by it at all. It folds open and close so easily. We have a inflatable sleeping bag and this is so much easier to use and carry around. Only negatives are: you may want to use a crib sheet as the sheet it comes with is a little rough and wish the bag it comes with had a handle to tote it around easier. I will be using this until he is probably 4-5 yrs old (unless he has a growth spurt and becomes too tall for the cot). We go and visit Grandma often and this will be his new bed there.

GREAT for Toddlers!

I just purchased several of these cots for use in my home daycare. All of my "babies" were getting to big for play pens. Well, to my surprise ALL 5 of my 2 year olds took to these the very first day in use! Nap time has been actually EASIER! They LOVE being BIG KIDS! And, they fold up for easy storage! I would recommend this product to ANYONE who needs a transition bed, cots for daycare or just for occasional use!

Not practical

The support bar that segments the cot in half also makes it very uncomfortable to sleep on. My 3 year old had to curl up in a little ball and sleep on one half of the cot. If she stretched out, the bar would jam her in the back at the waist line. I had to return it and buy a cot from another company. On the plus side, it folds up into a compact bag which my new cot won't do. If you really need a child cot that is portable, this may be okay for very occasional use but not comfy. Better to sleep on the floor.

Convenient for Travel

We have been using this travel bed for 4 months and are very pleased with it. My sons fight over who gets to sleep on it when we go to Disney on the weekends. Its so simple to set up--5 seconds max. It folds down with no effort. We simply put it right in the suitcase for every trip. The bag that it stores in is very thin and seems like it will shred easily, but otherwise, I'm a happy Mom. My only other complain is that it doesn't come in more colors, but that's not important to the functionality. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and I am absolutely sure it will last us for years to come.

Big bump in middle

I bought this for my two dogs to keep them off the ground when camping. I think it will work perfectly for that. It does not look comfortable for a child. There is a pronounced bump in the middle with a soft spit on either side - perfect for two dogs! I bought this instead of the dog version because this one came with a sheet I can wash. The sheet fits nicely.

Good Enough for Naps

Product is decent enough although you need to place some padding between the cot and oversheet or your child will feel the rods underneath... we use a toddler size sleeping bag and it provides enough padding for a nap... I wouldn't recommend using the product for your child's full night of sleep, though.

fun for my toddler and me!

This cot is perfect! My daughter loves to nap in it and sleep in it when we go camping. It is compact and light weight. The color is great for hiding dirt :) Walmart has the BEST price for it! Other sites charge about $10 more and are backordered! I am sure this is a seasonal product for Walmart but works for all seasons as far as I am concerned! We are going to continue to use this product for staying at Grandma's house!
