Perfect Solution

This worked great for use by my two year old while we were on vacation. It is sturdy, roomy and low enough to the floor that I felt comfortable with him using it. He has never slept in anything other than a crib but he took to it right away. It is amazingly easy to set up and compact enough for easy storage during travel. It turned out to be the perfect solution at a better value than I've been able to find anywhere else. I didn't have to blow up a noisy air mattress every night or worse yet, make room for an extra little person in my bed! I covered the cot in one of his crib mattress sheets so that it would feel a little more familiar to him.

Better than expected

I purchased this folding cot for our four year old grandson to use during our recent vacation. He weighs forty five pounds and is forty four inches tall. It worked great for him. He was comfortable and it fit easily next to his parents bed in the hotel room. It folds up very small and has a carrying case that makes it extremely easy to pack. Set up was a breeze. I don't think an adult could use this cot but it works great for a child.

Great choice for travel with our 2 1/2 year old

My tall 2 1/2 year old daughter had outgrown the pack n play and we were planning a trip to visit family where I knew sleeping arrangements would be tricky. This cot fit the bill perfectly. It took up minimal space in the car as well as in our guest room. And after placing a comforter and a crib sheet on top and adding a pillow and my daughter's blankets, she slept like an angel! She loves her little travel bed and slept all night every night we were visiting, as well as took her full nap every day. It is a bit firm, as described, but it is a cot! Put something quilted on top and it's fine. We had no issue with the "band across the middle" as described by some other buyers, but perhaps we got a later model. We couldn't be happier with this purchase and feel we will get a lot of use out of it.

Not comfortable

I like the size and portability, but there's a strap in the middle that makes the bed high in the middle and low everywhere else. If the strap was not there, it would be much more comfortable for my little one to use for a nap. I guess you get what you pay for.

good for camping

We bought a Regalo cot for a recent camping trip for our 5 year old. The cot is sturdy and does the job. The only drawback is the strap that runs across the middle of the cot for support. It pulls the fabric up and keeps the cot from being completely comfortable. While this worked out fine for a couple nights of camping, it would be uncomfortable long term. A child who is sensitive about that kind of pressure on their skin may be uncomfortable even for one night. But our boy was happy to have his own bed for our trip and we've since used it on other trips. Walmart had by far the best price and we were very pleased with our experience ordering it from here.

Nana's opinion

Sorry I returned it before my 3 yr old grandson tried it. It looked more like a place for a child to take a nap than spend a nite on. Like other reviewers noted the support straps look uncomfortable and don't seem necessary for small childs weight. The material alone looks durable without these additional crisscross straps. Wished it was more like a hammock -no straps. Ended up buying a small inflatable mattress( takes crib size sheets) which had separate inflatable surrounding sides(looked like a mattress in a inflatable life raft. Grandson loved it. Especially with the nifty character comforter & sheet set. LOL. Redesign without strapping and I'll buy it..

Perfect Travel Bed

Even after reading a few negative reviews, I felt that this cot was just what I was looking for, and it was. We needed a sturdy cot for our granddaughter to use when she sleeps over in our trailer. It fits perfectly into the small space and after adding a very small blanket as a "mattress" it worked perfectly. She loves it.

good product for the price with no comfort issue

I bought this cot to take with us on vacation in a month. My daughter is 22 months and a port a crib is too small but air mattress was too big. She is tall for her age. We let her try the cot when it arrived and she climbed right onto it. I worried about the middle sticking up like some have said but I did not see this problem. It barely pops up in the middle. I may put a blanket down for added padding but only because we will be gone for a week and I want my daughter comfortable. For the price I do believe the cot is great. Doesn't seem fragile and once pulled from its bag it pops right open easily. I tested the legs and bars by pulling and pushing on them and nothing broke off. My daughter and her 4 year old cousin sat on it together and seemed fine. My four year old niece could even lay across it but she is a little short for her age. Of course that was stretched out fully and while sleeping most kids curl up a little. Also my crib sheets fit on it nicely which was a plus since it only comes with one sheet that isn't as soft as I like.

Regaol My Cot Portable Bed

This bed does not provide the support needed, my son weighs 32 pounds and was sleeping on the bar which hurt him. The bed has no locking mechanism and can fold up while in the bed. The material does not provide the padding need and is not tight enough to keep the childs body off of the frame which is hard medal bars.

Excellent Portable Guest Bed

I got this so when my granddaughter comes over, she has her own space. It fit perfectly between my bed and the dresser. She was very comfortable, and really liked that it was pink. She's almost three years old, and weighs around 24 lbs. Folds away easily for storage when she's not visiting.
