Great food and prices

I bought this by mistake. I thought I was grabbing tuna in water. I do like tuna and oil, but specifically olive oil. I try not to eat vegetable oil in any of its manifestations. My mistake but there it is.

the fish tastes good, but the can is so dang hard to open, and it broke my can opener while i was trying to open it, so i had to get a new one. And the new one still can't get this dang thing to open.

Great buy on an excellent tasting oil packed tuna. I made a large recipe of Tuna Mac Salad and shared it with two other family members. Needless to say, it was gone the day I made it! StarKist Oil Packed Tuna always has the best full flavor.

I was recently diagnosed with Alpha Gal Syndrome -- a tick bite induced allergy to red meat/ mammal products and byproducts. Tuna should be a safe option, but this particular brand caused a severe allergic reaction after I ate it. I know it says dolphin safe, but perhaps there was possible accidental contamination with a dolphin. Or possibly the vegetable broth or oil contained something derived from a mammal, or perhaps the tuna was sprayed with carrageenan before it was processed. Just some guesses on the cause, but I will definitely be giving the rest of the cans of tuna to my dogs and cats and will not be buying this particular brand again.

This is a great deal $11.74 at the time I'm typing this review. You either like or you don't. I bought it because we like it. It's StarKist Tuna. In Oil. I will buy it again and again. Soooooo.........Compared to W.M.'s we know who that is, (wink, wink) $15.31 you're saving $3.84 before taxes. That's a Gallon of Gas if you're not using your Sam's Club Membership Fuel Discount. Waiting to hear if I got the job. LOL

If you like tuna this is the best deal I've found in a while!

Tuna In oil doesn't smell as much as tuna in water.
