After a week of having this chair the recliner motor started squeaking. We are receiving a replacement next week. Hoping the new one will not do the same. Sam's has been great working with me to get the defective chair picked up and the replacement sent. Lots of phone calls.

The chair is great for the price. My husband is practically living in it while he recovers from surgery. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it didn't work when we set it up. We had to turn the chair over to find and connect a loose wire. That wire came apart again later but now we know what to look for.

The chairs (we bought two) are very nice and comfortable and we love all the tech. A bit noisy as the chair goes up and down. However, delivery was spectacularly awful. It took 18 days to get both chairs.To their credit Sam's tried to keep us informed while every day FedEx told us the chairs were going to be delivered that day, and then there was some issue. And they also wanted someone to be home for the delivery - for 18 days! I did have a case open with Sam's and got good feedback and excellent help from Xander, a service rep. Finally when they came, FedEx dumped them at the garage door and didn't even ring the bell.

Very comfy...great price. Very comfortable chairs. They aech arrived in one box with two pieces in the box. You have to install the back onto the base. Very simple, no tools required. It takes two people to carry the box. I have been looking for this type of chair for awhile and they were all in the range of $1200 each. Whe I saw these Serta chairs for $399, I was unsure about the quality. After receiving them, I am pleasantly surprised. They feel very sturdy. They are also high enough that an elderly person can easily get up from them. There are 3 usb ports and two electric plugs. There is a separate switch for both the foot recline and the head. The cupholders are illuminated. I hope they hold up under use, but they seem pretty well built.

I found no assembly instructions in the box. Luckily I've assembled similar chairs. From the first use it squealed and screamed like an injured pig. I only have 35% of normal vision, but I finally found that the back of the chair is much closer to the left arm and is rubbing hard. I tried repositioning it several times, but it doesn't help. I applied LEXOL(R) between the sliding seat and back and the stationary arms and that quieted it down quite a bit. The right arm access door isn't attached straight and overhangs the outside of the arm. It was shipped to the house and I have no way to return it to the store inexpensively, I will live with it. The cup holders are out of level by about 6 degees, so be careful with full containers as they might spill.

I purchased this chair for use in my bedroom. I'm older so I have a bit of trouble getting around now. I like the power assist but the motor is a bit slow. Although the back does move forward and back there is little difference between the positions. The chair is a bit firm but that's probably because it's new. As it's used I think it will become more comfortable. My only color choice was black although I preferred brown or tan to match our decor, those colors were not available. The main reason I purchased this chair was the price point. It was about half the cost of other comprable chairs I looked at. It does have two cup holders and two storage bins which is convenient while watching TV. It is a very heavy unit that's well packed in one box. It will take two people and a furniture dolly to move it into a room. There is some assembly required after unboxing. Using small furniture moving pads is very helpful when placing the chair once it's assembled. For the money, this is a good chair. I would recommend anyone in the market for one to check this one out before making a final decision.

Love the chair. It's comfortable BUT the back broke off while laying in it just 2 weeks from buying. I was sitting in it and suddenly the back went flat back because the two pieces holding the brackets that attaches the back to the base literally broke in half. I hope it was just a bad piece of wood but it looks like a bad design with a very weak place so be easy using it and hopefully you'll be fine.

I'm 6'5” 250 LBS, is the chair big enough. Yes it is. It's well built, comfortable easy to operate. Is it a perfect fit for my height no, but it's quite nice, and I fit in it. Yes my feet over reach the the end of it. Doesn't bother me. (It's really not a big deal.) if it was my bed then it would be different. I would recommend it , the price was very reasonable it's well built, and it can hold 350 Lbs.

Advertised as leather. Box clearly states faux leather. Quite misleading and just an overall inconvenience to deal with the delivery, and then return of such a heavy, bulky item(s). Also, the grey color appears as nearly black, fyi for anyone curious.

We bought six of these chairs for our home theater. It's a very comfortable chair, and although it's faux leather it doesn't feel cheap. I'm a tall person and fit in it just fine. Four of the six chairs were fine, but one had an armrest that was loose (able to tighten with a screwdriver) and another the armrest had torn off completely. We returned that one to the store, but the replacement recliner had a headrest that did not function. If it weren't such a hassle we would return that as well. All in all, it's a nice chair, but 3 of 7 chairs having issues is a sign of poor craftsmanship. You may get lucky to get a good quality chair, but you may be disappointed as well.
