I buy this all the time, it's my addiction. The slices are now so thin & short, there is no way it weighs what they say. Today the whole package was dried out because the bacon was extremely burnt. Not edible. THE WHOLE PACKAGE!!!! The thick sliced version has changed their recipe & just tastes like over salted liquid smoke. This makes me sad as I am allergic to so many foods, & i hate cooking bacon. Please do better Hormel.

I have purchased the Hormel Black Label at my local Sams Club for years. The changes they have made to this product are unacceptable. Strips are so thin it's pathetic. Also the there is so much fat on one end I just cut some of it off. When you heat it long enough to get the "fat" end crispy the meaty end is almost burnt. I would be willing to pay a little more to have the previous version, this one just doesn't do it.

This bacon may be a name brand, but I'll take the store version of the other warehouse any day. Easy to warm up, but once out of the microwave, my kids asked why it was burnt and so small. Tasted more like ashes than bacon. Had to make twice as much too.

I have been buying this bacon for almost 20 years, it is convenient and it is tastes really good. However, the way it's cut sometimes you get a nice slice of bacon other times it's paper-thin and narrow, I always look at the package and try to see what I am getting. Up until now, I have let this go for convenience and price. But it went from 11.97 to 14.97 to 17.97 all since spring, Covid or no Covid no bacon is worth that price.
