I buy for an adult child that lives with us. I would prefer to have nitrates and other chemicals removed. I would not buy till Hormel changes and makes safe for their customers.

I hesitated buying pre-cooked bacon for a long time but now I am all in. saves the mess of cooking. If i get in the mood to put bacon in my salad I can just reach in the fridge. This particular brand is properly cooked but seems to lack flavor.

Could be thicker & wider, but generally I love the convenience of this bacon. I can make a BLT in 5 minutes or less, with no greasy mess! Only downside is I miss the bacon grease for future cooking, like beans & taters, for instance.

Easy great way to have bacon any time. I keep it on hand in fridge and we can use at any time in an amount desired. Always good, quick and tasty. Usually 1 toast cycle in a toaster oven.
