Yes one COULD cook their own for much less money. But you will not get better flavor. Been there done that. Now, we don't have the clean up involved with the cooking. Geat on meatloafs, BLT's, or salads ect. Want less grease or more crispy? microwave on a papertowel for 30 seconds.

I like crisp bacon and this cooks crisp in the microwave in under a minute. The strips are thin but if you like thick bacon just double your portion. The only reason I'm rating a 4 instead of 5 is because it's cured with sugar. Food manufacturers need to stop adding sugar to everything we eat unless it's a dessert.

I used to fry my bacon, but one day got smart and tried Hormel's fully cooked bacon. Never went back! The house didn't smell of greasy bacon, fill with smoke, and there was no nasty frying pan to wash. About 19 seconds in my microwave for a couple bacon slices on a paper towel. And you have quick bacon and eggs, BLT's, or whatever! And at 72 strips, this was a no brainer. The taste and price is very good! Try it, you'll like it! Clean up is just throwing out a paper towel.

This bacon is great especially when you’re pressed for time and still wanting that delicious breakfast. Not only breakfast, but I love it on burgers and turkey sandwiches. The amount you get is worth the price. I will always purchase this until I stop eating pork.

Great bacon, with excellent flavor, and good crispness, especially when cooked in a pan. Easy to pop in the microwave for a FAST meal (BLT sandwich, or breakfast sandwich, burger toppings, etc) kid-friendly because you can give them an easy 2-piece with toast for picky eaters, and bonus, each slice is only 1 WW point on Blue Plan!

Is this the best bacon? No. Is it great to have on hand when you crave bacon, but don't have time to cook some? ABSOLUTELY! The pieces are thin, but nice and crisp. The flavor is also good. I don't use it for making a "bacon & eggs" breakfast. But I like it for making BLT's, chopping in salads, etc. The cost may seem expensive, but because it is the cooked weight, it is comparable in price.

This bacon is the bomb. It’s so easy to throw in a pan for just a few seconds. Again, yet another product I never would have purchased had I not had the chance to taste test it on one Of the food demo carts. So glad they are back. I buy so many items that are demoed on these taste test carts !!!

Do I normally put bacon on top of an egg salad sandwich? No. But, having these precooked bacon strips around, I put them on anything that might compliment the food. No, these aren't crispy bacon pieces, but warm them up in the microwave and that bacon flavor will go nice with that fried egg sandwich, cheeseburger or BLT. There's so much you can baconize when you have precooked convenience and more time to prepare. With so many slices in the package, now I am thinking...can I wrap bacon around this? Does is cost a little more, yes, but this bacon is worth it!

it is now a staple in the fridge. I quite buying regular bacon years ago unless it is by the piece at butcher counter for a recipe. The cost, fat, mess....I could live without it. this is so easy hubby loves it. a few seconds in the mw and perfection.

We have been buying this at Sam’s for about 6 years….we buy 5 or 6 packages and put them in the freezer. We refrigerate after opening and we really enjoy microwaving a dozen or so slices between paper towels. So easy and so neat…hardly any mess and it is sooooo good!
