Like everything nowadays, the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. Might have to stop buying this product even though it’s always in my refrigerator because my kids love bacon :(

Love this bacon and so good for many dishes ! The price is too high now at $21, so I won't be buying it until it comes down to around $11. We will do without it and many other products because of inflated prices.

convenient and delicious

This bacon is usually great but I must have gotten a bad pack. Weird pork fat flavor in the last pack I bought. Had a few slices and threw the whole pack away. First time I've ever had this happen with this particular bacon.

We have been using this product for several years. After straying to a different brand a couple times, we always come back to Hormel. It keeps for months in the fridge and is very convenient. Recent price increases have caused a reduction in rations but we will probably continue to buy while it is available. Especially like the no-mess, no grease, easy clean-up.

I will go to Sam’s just for this item. Although this is not the thick cut, the slices are much thicker than those at the traditional grocery stores. It’s so convenient and huge timesaver. I hate the smell of my home after cooking bacon, so I would just avoid cooking bacon at home all together. Now that I have found this product, I can enjoy bacon for breakfast again without worrying about the lingering smell.

Still the best deal in precooked bacon but don’t expect all of the pieces to look like the top level. Some of the pieces can be downright scrawny. These pieces will be in the middle layers where you can’t see them. They may be short, maybe half as long as normal or skinny; scrawny. The good news is the consistently sweet smoky flavor.

Our family has noticed the last two times we have purchased the bacon that the slices are smaller and have more fat on them. Not only has the cost gone up but the quality isn't the same. Instead of advertising it as 72 pieces they seem more like 36 pieces. I guess everyone is being hit in their wallet. Taste is fine.

Not happy that the price keeps going up, but this is all we use. We freeze it and take a package out at a time. We only buy cooked bacon because it's convenient. We don't stock up quite like we used to, because the price is so high. We still love this. My hubby would prefer regular, but the greasy mess is too much for me.

Our lives have LITERALLY been changed by this product! Seriously, this bacon can be eaten like beef jerky, added to a sandwich cold, or heated in the microwave for 20 seconds to get a warm sizzle for breakfast. There are plenty of slices to last a while and one simply needs to unzip the package, take out what is needed, and put the rest back in the refrigerator. Want a BLT on the fly??? Slice a tomato and grab a couple pieces of pre-cooked bacon. Oh--- and I don't have to deal with annoying bacon grease either!
