There was no 2' or 3' down rod. Installer claimed Hunter sells separately however ad specifically says includes both. Whisper quiet and lighting is great.

It just made the room so much better looking and also alot cooler on the days you dont need your HVAC running. Lights are very bright. Will be picking up another one for the.guest room.
