Purchased for my kindergartener 4 years ago and is still going strong. Size was a bit big for kindergarten, but it’s perfect now. Latches close and hold tightly - no leaks. We were skeptical about the durability of the hinges/latches, but they have withstood the test of time, packing 3+ lunches per week for four years. Two quibbles: I don’t love that it lays flat when you open it because it takes up a lot of space and seems fragile. Also, it has been VERY tough to find a lunch bag that will securely hold this size lunch box AND a water bottle.

Purchased the Bentgo box along with the matching lunchbox and backpack for my daughter. She truly enjoys the set, and it makes packing her lunch a breeze. We did have a small issue with the mesh part ripping, but the customer service was fabulous and helped us resolve this quickly. Would purchase again!

My 5 year old daughter loves this lunchbox and usually eats everything we pack for her. Portion sizes are perfect. Customer service has been very helpful when a clasp broke about a year after we bought it and they replaced it at no charge. I’d definitely recommend this product.

We have the Bentgo Fresh box for our kids and the lid for one of them snapped. We had registered the warranty and contacted customer support who happily took care of the issue for us. It was smooth and they went above and beyond. The reviews speak for the products. Very very happy and highly recommended.

We have had this for about a year now and it's easy for my kids to pack their own lunches because they use the compartments as a guide for healthy food choices. Entree, fruit, veggie, something crispy, and usually use the middle circle for cut up cheese. The only issue we have had is the rubber seal getting mold on it but customer service has been easy to work with.

This product is amazing! I purchased this for my toddler to use at daycare. The daycare actually suggested it. I love that the clips are easy for her little fingers to open and everything is in one place! She doesn’t have to open multiple things! I also love that the tray can easily be popped into the dishwasher! I love the portion size! It helps me to not send too much food! I’ve had friends have issues with the silicone portion (that seals the box on the top) staining when they send any kind of marinara sauce, but I’ve gotten around that! If I send anything that I think might stain the silicone on the box, I cover the top of tray with press-n-seal before closing and sealing the box. This way, the press-n-seal protects that silicone when you finally close the box to seal it. I always use a plastic wrap of some sort on the top of the tray before I close to seal the box! Note: press-n-seal works best for sauces. Make sure not to use the press-n-seal every time though! Rotate it between regular plastic wrap, because the press-n-seal will leave a sticky residue over time that you’ll need to scrub off. So, unless your sending a sauce, just use regular plastic wrap! This product is easy to clean, pack, and carry! It keeps the warm stuff warm and the cool stuff cool! I also love their customer support! They are super helpful with replacements if there is ever an issue! I called them about a replacement part for our Bentgo Fresh box and they had me taken care of so quickly! They were so incredibly kind and easy to work with! I don’t think I’ll ever use another product! At first, I was worried about the cost, but it’s definitely worth the money!

We purchased the Bentgo Fresh boxes for our kids after already trying out similar generic versions that eventually broke. The quality is a night and day difference! These are durable, and (so far) leak proof. Easy disassembly for thorough cleaning. The Fresh run a little larger than the Bentgo Kids; inside and out, and the divider allows for diverse meals. If you're looking for a preschool or young elementary aged box go go with the Kids. The Fresh is good for older children and adults with larger meals.

I have three kids, 2,4,6 so one in elementary and two in day care. I use these every other day and the other bentgo alternating days. They’re great for sandwiches (half or whole), English muffin pizzas, wraps, and if you have cupcake liners (silicone or disposable) you can use them to separate into smaller sections for DIY lunchables. I say 4 stars because some days I like the removable divider and then other days I don’t. Plus my youngest wasn’t paying attention and threw it away one day. It holds more than enough food to fill up the kids. You can fit an applesauce pouch in the big compartment. I usually meal prep on the weekends and pack 2 days worth of lunches for the kids. The food is still fresh on Tuesday when I pack on Sunday. Great option for those who don’t want to deal with Tupperware and containers being sent to school and don’t want to waste money and kill the planet with baggies.

We have used this style lunch box for six years, for two kids and two adults. It is truly leakproof which makes it great for throwing in school backpacks, ski bags, hiking backpacks, work bags, etc. The flexibility of the larger compartment size is great to accommodate different "main dish" items. Just be careful not to throw away the divider! It washes well by hand or on the top rack of the dishwasher. We LOVE the Bento Fresh Box!

We love the separate compartments and the size is perfect for our kids lunches (aged 5 and 7). The removable compartment divider allows flexibility for each meal. Clips are easy for kids to use and the lunch boxes come in so many amazing colors to suit everyone's preferences. Customer service is exceptional!
