Honestly I didn't want to go as high as MERV 12 for my 2-ton SEER 14 HVAC system, but the brand I was purchasing MERV 10 filters from lowered the quality of their products. 3M makes good products and as long as my system doesn't work too hard to push air through filters this high rated then I believe it'll be fine.

The 14x25 filter is probably fine if you have a smaller system (2 ton AC or less). But at 1200 cfm (typical for 3 ton AC), the airflow restriction is 0.47 wc which is quite high. It caused my AC to throw an error, even with a new filter right out of the package... not after it ran a while and caught a bunch of dust and stuff. Other Filtrete options have better airflow performance. Just wish Sam's sold em!

I have been buying 3m filters for my ac from SAMS club for years but the last batch has issues. I think it is too restrictive and causes my furnace to cut off or short cycle. A new filters fixes the issue but returns in less than 30 days, I can feel the decreased airflow in the registers. Also, I recall the 3M filters used to have rounded folds in the filter material however these newer ones have very sharp folds like a W or V. I am not sure if the earlier version had a lower merv rating. I can no loger use these for more than 20 days, and we do not have any pets or a dusty house.

They fit the opening OK and seem to work fine. I can't tell by using them if they do or do not capture allergens, bacteria and viruses.

Best price I've found for these ultra filters. Colds and flu are much decreased since starting to use these filters. Dust is minimal (for Nebraska). Would recommend it someone in your family has pets or allergies.

Look! I had my attic coil cleaned, the guy went up and came back down!! I said “ boy you are quick “ he said my coil was as clean as he has seen. All due to changing my filter with Filtrete filters!!!

Excellent filter at a great price! It fit perfectly, seems very well made, and gives me confidence in the air quality in my home. Definitely a great deal.

These have been great for my sinuses! They are all we use now. There has been a drastic reduction of dust on our hardwood floors.

We shopped around buying filters from different stores, buying filters online through subscriptions. Not only are they more expensive the Quality is not the same. With a membership We get 4 filters for the price of 1.

Did not fit properly was off by a few mm it’s the same size as the one currently in the vent however not sure if it was not cut properly when manufactured but had to squish it in place
