I bought this 6x9 washable rug one month ago. I needed it as I have an old dog that has started having overnight accidents. first let me say it is incredibly soft and stayed in place without a rug pad. Spills beaded up and was easily picked up but thats where the good ended. My vacuum has a suction setting and even with minimal suction the rug was always getting sucked up in the vacuum. After 3 weeks the stains in the rug were no longer coming out so into my xlarge front loader the rug went. I pretreated the stains but the rug came out filthy. Not even the grime from footprints came out in the wash. I live in an apartment so hanging the rug out to dry was not an option. The instructions said no dryer.

Extremely hard to vacuum. It dosentstay flat so it bunches up and gets caught in the vacuum causing little snags. Tried washing several times. I have a 7.0 cu ft washer and it is unable to wash this rug. It gets too heavy and throws off the balance every time. Too heavy to put in the dryer as well.

I got this rug for my birthday in July. I loved it! The size was perfect. The colors and the pattern was nice. It is so soft. However after a few months I'm no longer pleased. It has faded so much. Just in the areas walked on. The rest still looks the same. This is not in a high traffic area. Its in my bedroom. Just me and a cat walking on it daily. No shoes. Never even any spills. Its just so faded on the path from my bedroom door to my bed. It looks awful. For the price and being from Sams club I counted on excellent quality. Very disappointed.

I didn't realize how much my carpet has faded after 2 years until I was looking for a new one to put up stairs and ran across the one I purchased. Bright, beautiful, blue and red colors are now washed out. No direct sunlight. I've washed it once because I have to take it to the laundry mat and it's a chore to do.

Sorry if this is gross to some - we have a problem with our little dog peeing on the rug. We decided a washable rug would be our best bet to try and fight stains and odors. We have had the rug down for one day, and I am thoroughly impressed. Our little dog did what she tends to do, and not one drop soaked into the rug. It was just a puddle that beaded up on top of the surface. (Tried loading a picture but it isn’t working) I was hesitant to purchase this because I didn’t want it to be a waste of money. But I’m glad I did! I hope after a few washes it stays this repellent!

I have washed this rug 3x and am very disappointed. I followed the instructions. The first wash the corners have frayed and others curled. I had to tie loose stitching in a knot to keep it from being worse. It has cleaned well , but now it's ruined with the edges and I will have to replace it. I did take this to the laundry mat as it is very big and heavy. It was so heavy coming out of the washer, that I had to ask my husband to help. I'm not sure how good a regular washer could do with the weight. Save your money and pay for the Ruggable.

I bought 2 of these rugs so we could wash due to having 2 dogs. One of my pups had an accident (#1) and it just laid on top of the rug not soaking through. I soaked it up with just paper towels and disinfectant. I would give this rug a 10 if I could!!! Kudos!!!!

I absolutely loved this area rug!! so soft and beautiful. Unfortunately didn't last too long. After 6 months it looked like disaster, completely faded, the printed ornaments are not visible at all, turned thin and rough. I have it now for 9 months but it looks very embarrassing. I haven't even washed it, we don't own pets and don't eat in living room or wear shoes in the house so there was no need. I would not recommend, only in case you don't mind replacing it after half year with light use. This rug just gets you excited at the beginning, last during the return window and than it goes down the hill.

If you're buying this and think you're going to be able to vacuum it, don't. Just received today, layed it out on the floor and went to run my Dyson over it and it just gets sucked up into the vacuum. This thing cannot be vacuumed, at least not with a Dyson. This is bad news considering I have cats.

I wanted so badly to love this rug.. and I did at first . It is absolutely gorgeous… softest rug I have ever stepped foot on … feels light like a blanket and so nice to do floor activities on like legos or game night … the problem came when I tried to vacuum . First with my shark .. and yes I did try it with the release on . I tried my other vacuum on the highest setting and they both sucked the rug up into the vacuum. No matter what I tried. So I got out my crosswave to try to clean it up that way. Kept sucking the rug up and jamming the cleaner. So I still want to love this rug. It says washable . I think , might as well give it a try. Shove it into my super capacity machine . Did not spin the water out even after multiple spins . So heavy I could barely lift it . It balled up terribly in my dryer and just spun in circles in a big ball. The problem is, it’s winter. It’s snowing so I can’t hang it to dry . What a pain. Sigh.
