Member's Mark Grass Fed Beef Top Sirloin Steak, priced per pound

Steak was the toughest, chewiest steak I have ever had!  It was prepared stovetop, in a skillet and finished in the oven to a perfect mid rare.  Allowed to rest 5-10 mins and it was literally inedible. Even the dog wouldn't touch it!

I must admit these steaks remind me of the "way meat used to be".  Nuff said

These steaks looked good in the package. My husband cooked all four for dinner and two of them were tender and tasty without any fat or gristle. The other two were full of horrible gristle, making them inedible. We ended up giving them to the dogs. I was very disappointed after spending the money on them. If we lived closer to the Sam’s club where we purchased them I would have gone into the store and told them.

Two out of the four steaks were inedible.

They were quite satisfying, I cooked them on the skillet with butter and garlic. They turned out great. I would recommend just peeking at the cuts a bit more, though the ones we got were good, there were still some toughness. Overall great and would buy again.
