Least sodium I can find in any cheese. As someone who believes that the two biggest evils in Western diet are trans-fat (medical establishment agrees) and sodium/typical salt (medical establishment mixed), and a sodium watcher, I can eat 3 slices of this for the same sodium as one slice of the closest competitor. (Unfortunately, I like this cheese too much, so I have to buy a new pack just about every trip to Sams.)

Baby Swiss cheese is usually aged for about a month, a much shorter period than "real" Swiss. It should be creamier, softer, and have smaller, more numerous holes. It should have a milder, buttery, and slightly sweet flavor, with a gentle nutty note. This cheese is quite firm, has few holes, and has the stronger flavor of "real" Swiss. If you are looking for baby Swiss, this product is close to adulthood. If you want a decent Swiss cheese at a pretty low price for a sandwich, this isn't too bad. If you want a better Swiss at a higher price, they used to carry Jarlsberg, but of course have decided to favor quantity over quality.

Makes the best ham and swiss sandwiches. They are perfect size and melt great if that is the choice for my meal. I will buy them before any other sandwich swiss and I don't live close to Sam's but am willing to drive 90 miles just to keep them on hand.

We always buy this cheese when we shop at Sam's. It lasts a long time and a great price for the quality and amount of cheese in the package. It works wonderfully for grilled cheese sandwiches, cut up on salads, as a snack with crackers. It stays fresh up until the last slice.

Delicious with the Members Mark 4-Pepper Turkey Breast and the Members Mark Stone Baked Naan (scrumptuous flatbread zapped for 15 sec or so) for the most delicious sandwich you will ever eat! Lay in a big supply, because everyone is going to be eating it up and you’ll have none left for yourself if you don’t! Seriously.

This is thick good quality slices of cheese. I break the package of 42 slices up into 4 pkg of 10 slices (two with 11 slices) using my food saver so it stays fresh and we can use as needed. Makes awesome grilled cheeses; grilled ham n cheese w/sliced tomatoes or on my everything bagel w/hard salami among other things. Yum!

Creamy cheese with no plastic taste. So often when you get shred cheese or slices, they have a plastic taste and texture and this cheese is nothing but soft and melts in your mouth. It tastes like Swiss cheese should taste. It melts well in a grilled cheese.

I like to buy these particular slices. They seem to be just the right size slice for adding to a sandwich or using to melt in a grilled cheese or add as a topping to chicken or meat. When I pick up this size I seem to be able to use it easily since it can be used in so many ways. I have found that having it in the fridge adds to the ideas I have for meal planning.

This package of Swiss cheese is filled and its a steal of a deal. The cheese has a nice smooth flavor and the slices are on the thick side however you get plenty. I use it on my Jimmy Dean egg sandwiches as i slice a piece up and put it on the sandwich before it goes in the microwave and the end result is yummmmmmy!!

The best thing about this is that it is pre-sliced. My husband eats a great deal of cheese and he prefers Swiss, as does most of my family. This is a fair price and it tastes good. It is our preferred cheese to purchase. I think I would prefer if it came in a 3 pound package however.
