Michelin Primacy mxm4 tires are very competent on wet & dry conditions in summer and are even pretty good in snow IF ITS COLD..but in wet snow / slushy city roads these tires are HORRIBLE. I chose these for my sister’s Subaru Forester as I was very impressed by the Michelin Pilots I had on my Camry, but the Primacy mxm4 are very disappointing. I’m now shopping again, this time going for an ALL WEATHER TIRE. I’m not sure I will be purchasing Michelin’s in the future. This vehicle is used primarily in the city and she didn’t want to have to invest in two sets of tires considering she drives less than 10k a year.

What I noticed most about my tires are the smoothness of the ride, and the way it handle curves on the highway. I have also notice the increased mileage I get which I will confess was as good as advertised. I will buy Michelin tires the next time I purchase tires and I am sure the time after that as well.

I have bought Michelin tires in the past for my SUV but have since sold the SUV and now have an AUDI. I am so glad I replaced the tires with Michelin Primacy MXM4's, they handle much better in the Florida rains and are much quieter and when stopping quickly I stop much faster weather it's on wet or dry surface

1.5 years after buying and ~19,000 miles I need to replace per the BMW dealer. Tread has between 3 & 4 mm left. I thought these were suppose to last closer to 55,000 miles for the price. I better get some warranty dollars off or I'm going back to Continentals

I have these tires on my car and I absolutely love them! They last forever and make me feel like I'm driving a brand new car! These tires are definitely made to last. They are the only brand I will ever purchase. I have never been more happy with my tires. This is the brand for me.

These are the best handling tires I have ever used on my car. In the last few months I have had to brake fast and swerve to avoid hitting a deer. The car was able to stop before reaching the animal. I believe we avoided an accident because of our Michelin tires.

Since replacing OEM tires on my Acura TL with Primacy MXM4s, my fuel economy has consistently averaged 1-2mpg higher than previously. Ride, handling, and braking are all superior, and after over 20,000 miles, treadwear has been minimal, so I expect these tires to last much longer than the OEM tires. I have since purchased the same replacement tires for all three of our childrens' Honda Accords, and they have also been estremely satisfied. I recommend these tires without reservation, and will definitely purchase them again.

I have a 2WD Lexus RX350. Last year i went to the snow with 50% front and 70% rear on another manufacturer tire. Chain restrictions were in effect. I lied, said it was AWD. (DISCLAIMER: I'm a professional driver and a rescue driver (my job to never get stuck) so i have the experience to drive in these conditions. I DO NOT suggest you do the same. It will cost you your life. The purpose of this is for performance comparison.) Any slight hill, my traction light was coming on. I was climbing slight freeway hills at 15-20mph just unable to get traction. Vehicles were stopped ahead on a downhill and it took 800ft to stop from 35mph. This year, i put 4 new Primacy MXM4s on my SUV. Still had plenty of tread from last year's tires but i wasn't about to go through that again. This year the weather was much worse. Much more snow. On the same interstate, my SUV was having no trouble keeping up with the AWD vehicles and 4x4s. It was so bad, some AWD vehicles (Subaru Outback likely with bad tires) had to put chains on. And braking, night and day from last year. Now, all season performance, my SUV was averaging 25mpg with the old tires. 4 of these and I'm seeing 28-29mpg at 65mph on flat ground. That's a significant improvement.

I use these tires in my everyday driver (2010 Pontiac Vibe). They handle wonderfully and have shortened my braking distance. Overall I feel safe in any road condition. The Vibe is a lot quieter that when the factory tires were on. I love these tires and with these being my first set of Michelin tires, I have a feeling this will be a long lasting relationship (Michelin and Me). I drive mostly highway miles. I accomplish routine maintenance as scheduled. I still have a little tread wear remaining, but am replacing my current set of MXM4 tires with the same --- my current set has over 80K miles on them. Vehicle: 2006 Honda Accord EX V6 4 dr. (287K miles +) These tires provide the performance and handling to instill confidence on most road conditions experienced in South-Central PA. I highly recommend them!
