good winter tire

put same size as OEM lost 4.3 MPG on my normal drive back and forth to work overall no complaints but that. We just got 11 inches of snow didn't even have to put in 4 wheel drive very impressed with snow traction have had 8 different AT tires on my trucks hands down these are the best for snow.

Best tires I've found for my Ford

I've had these tires on my '01 F250 (7.3l) for approximately four years now. I've had the truck since new and these are the fourth set of tires that have been on it. I'm absolutely going with the same tire again when I replace them. They've outlasted any of the other tires I've tried on the truck. They have better snow and ice traction then any of the other tires I've tried on the truck. With these tires I don't need to get out and lock the hubs as often as with some of the previous brands. My truck sits a lot, but I've had none of the flat-spotting issues I had with previous brands. They also handle very well on pavement, towing (both off road and on the highway), and in soft ground. Overall, I'm very pleased with the tires. They're the best all-around truck tire I've found.

I love the DuraTrac's!

Replaced my stock BFG Rugged Terrains at 40k miles. The DuraTracs (same exact size as OEM) are not any noisier, ride quality is very close to being the same. There is a little vibration in the steering wheel from 60mph - 75mph, then evens out around 80mph. They are really tough and have amazing traction in lose ground, dirt, mud, rain, ice and slush. Cannot speak for the tread wear, not enough miles on them yet, however at 6k miles, they still look brand new (as I would expect any tire to do so under normal conditions). I got the heavy duty DuraTracs with the 10ply sidewalls. I lost about 15 miles per tank of gas over the BFG Rugged Terrains.

Very happy with one exception...

I am very happy with the look, ride, and feel of these tires. My truck is lifted 6" and I got these tires in 315/75r16. Minimal road noise with decent mileage for the size of my tires and truck. The only negative is that I have found these tires wearing a little more quickly than I would have liked especially since I have only put less than 3,000 miles on them.

Great upgrade for off road use

I upgraded to these tires from the stock ones on my 2016 Ram. Overall they are great I've used them driving on the beach as well as numerous off roads trails scouting for hunting season. On road they have similar traction to convention tires with a slight increase in braking distance. Wet traction if great and inspires confidence. I can't speak to winter conditions yet however I assume they will be fine there as well. Overall a great tire and I am quite happy.

These were well worth the money

I have only had the tires for a few thousand miles, so I have not gotten to really break them in yet, especially in the snow and ice since it has been summer. I've taken them through wet grass, rocks, mud, and on the roads and they still have not slipped once. They even got me out of a situation where I was sure I was stuck. I love these tires and would definitely get them again.

These are excellent lasting tires

Just bought and installed my 2 nd set of these tires. First set of tires lasted me 127000 km. Could have gotten more mileage out of them, but winter is here and decided to buy new. These tires were Highway and off road as I work in the oilfield. Really good grip in mud and/or snow.

Perfect Colorado Tire

I purchased these tires almost a year ago, they now have 25,000 miles on them and have only worn 3/32's. I would strongly recommend these tires to anyone looking for a "one ski quiver" when it comes to their tires. I have them on my 2011 Silverado 1500 that I use as my daily driver and put to work on the weekends whether it be skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, or hunting. These tires get a lot of highway driving for work and from the I-70 cruise into the mountains every weekend. Yes, there is some road noise when on pavement but that is expected with a more aggressive tire. That noise it completely worth it though. I have used these in every condition both on and off road from deep snow to slick mud, I have never once worried about making to or from the trail head or up and over a sketchy Loveland pass drive. The only recommendation I have is to rotate them constantly, it was recommended to me and so far the tires have worn very lightly and very evenly.

Best tyre I've owned.

I'm now at 80,000miles and about to buy my 2nd set of duratracs. Even with this amount of wear, tyres still handle well on wet tarmac, sand, and rock. I can't comment for heavier vehicles, but for lighter vehicles (I'm driving a Land Rover defender 90) they are exceptional. I've never been happy with a set of tyres prior to these. MTs had too many drawbacks (wear, wet weather performance), and ATs were not good enough offroad. Particularly good on sand (tyres float and respond well to reduced pressure), high speed gravel (minimal chipping and heat buildup), and on road. Good on rocks and technical offroad sections. Tyres have become louder with wear, but wet weather performance is still good. Minimal experience with mud, so will not comment.

No regrets...will buy again next time.

After doing some extensive tire research and comparisons, I decided to buy these tires for my 2015 Sierra 4X4 SLE crew cab truck. My wife and I took the truck for a spin this past weekend up in the hill country and we immediately noticed the smooth and very quiet ride. I was very impressed with the handling and tire traction while going through low water crossings (water running over low bridge), especially after getting back on to pavement...no peeling out at all. One last important note: my gas mileage consumption has remained pretty much the same in comparison to the former passenger tires on truck...and that's great news too!! We highly recommend the Wrangler Duratrac tires.
