I've had great results with this potting mix. I top all my potted plants with this a couple times a year, as well as use it for potting up my propagated plants. Excellent!

Nothing better for potting plants in. Moisture control is noticeable. I also use this to freshen up the soil of plants potted last year. I add about 1/3rd of the pot.

Have used this for many summers. Love how it makes flowers grow bigger and better. Need to make sure it's moist all through the potting mix when initially planting flowers. Seemed to have a few more pieces of sticks this time. Best price I've found in my area.

I have bought Miracle-Gro potting mix as my go-to planting medium for years. I just purchased a new bag and the quality is horrible. Wat used to be nice silky rich dirt is now sticks and rocks. I am very disappointed with this stuff. They are now passing off and selling as if it were the same quality as the old mixture. It is as if they learned from the illegal drug industry and are cutting their product with cheap crap to turn more of a profit. It as a 1-star rating because I suppose you could use it for mulch after you try to use it for plants.

I bought this to repot my beautiful Peace Lily, Palm Tree, Purple Passion, Philodendron Micans, Philodendron Lemon Lime and my 8 year old White Bird of Paradise plants. After 10 days, my plants started showing signs of sickness. I thought that was very odd. So, I I loosened the soil on my Bird of Paradise and 100s of gnats and tiny flies erupted from the dirt. I screamed like I was in a movie! I prepared a tea tree soap solution with Bronners for the other plants and they were infested really bad as well. I have been bombing my house. The unused bag is outside on the porch waiting for garbage pickup! I loss my Peace Lily, Purple Passion, White Bird of Paradise and the others I'm attempting to save! I'm calling Miracle Gro!

Great product. I've used for many years for my summer outdoor container plantings. I do add additional slow release fertilizer in the top 3 inches of the potting mix used. Everyone raves about my container gardens. They are show stoppers. Note this is a potting mix not a soil.
