[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed this product right away and was worried that i wasn't going to get it on time, but that wasn't the case. Got the product just in time and was very happy that it worked properly. No negative things to say.

High cost is a perpetual problem with toner. Cost per ounce is greater than gold. It would be nice if HP would include controls for toner lay-down density. Sometimes images are too black. Maybe that is an editing problem for images. Cartridge replacement is slick. Printers have good engineering.

I've literally installed 1000s of these in my life and the expereince has always been the same.. not worth of a review or a waste of my mind to tell people that ink works.. but having said that. i'll take the $50 award, please and thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No surprise here, but the HP toner cartridges work best with the HP printers. After having issues with some cheaper alternatives, we finally gave in and purchased the real deal. I'm only giving this four stars instead of five because I wish they were cheaper...

So far so good! Worked right out of the box, took all of 15 seconds to install. Can't testify to if i will actually 6500 pages out of this thing, but i am optimistic. Would do five stars but shipping took forever and packaging was basically just plastic wrap.

I always buy hp ink & toners but... when my old color laser printer died I ended up with this printer which I love but: the cartridges triples in price from my old printer. I was ready to cry when I found out how much the new cartridges were. I use the printer a lot pictures, calendars, scrapbooks, etc. I guess I will have to stop some of my projects. Why are these cartridges so much more expensive than other my other laser cartridges? I looked up cartridges for my old printer and some others and the price is about the same as they were before.

I purchased replacement cartridges for our HP printer directly from you guys for a couple of reasons; 1.) Freshest "magic stuff" inside. Hasn't been sitting on a vendors shelf for who knows how long! 2.) Latest technology on cartridges design., 3.) It will fit!. Not a make-shift adapted cartridge, 4.) Backed by HP's guarantee should there be a problem.

I admit to having tried cheap refills in the past from knock-off sources. Believe me, they are not a bargain in the long run if they gum up your printer. HP offers consistently good quality and you can depend on the cartridges delivering the page count advertised.

I haven't run out of the black ink in the previous cartridge yet.
