Meets my needs perfectly This generator checks all the boxes. It provides the emergency power needed for my home if/when the electricity is out: an affordable price, dual fuel, electric start (plus a remote key fob!). After adding gas and oil, it started right up with a couple pulls. The electric start worked perfectly after realizing I missed the battery wire connection step. Definitely recommend.

I was amazed at the ease and quickness from opening box to running items in my house. I bought the generator and it was still in the box a few days later when my power went out. I literally was able to get it out of the box, assemble in 5 min or less, and had a couple of cords powering items in my house within 15 to 20 minutes. I absolutely love the remote start feature!!!!

My neighbor purchased the same unit a week ago during a power outage and it ran perfect for 3 days. It handle all his homes power needs without any problems. So I decided to purchase one. After test running it on my house it ran perfectly and handle all the power needs at my house. So many features - great generator

I bought this a month ago and could not happier. After the most simple assembly we put the oil in and filled with fuel and it started right up with just a push of a button. We ran it for awhile as per the instructions and then added load to it. I must say it did not skip a beat. I feel so much better now that I bought this generator and I am so much more prepared. Thank you Westinghouse for a great product.

After years of putting of buying a generator because I hated to modify it (voiding warranty), I finally found just the right product that had all the features I needed. Having the tri-fuel option and ability to plug into natural gas while it works is amazing!

Generator was easy to finish assembling. Can with everything you need. Great flexibility to go between had and propane of needed. Only done a test run but it doing well. Looking forward to getting my house wiped for a transfer switch. It should work nicely with this unit. The push start and remote are great options.

Generator exceeded my expectations. At the lower price point for it size I was expecting some compromises so far I have found none. Assembly was quick and simple. Startup had no issues and the remote worked out of the box. Note if you connect to the 50 amp outlet get a cord with a straight plug. 90 degree plug on many cords will not fit with the wheel attached.

Very pleased with the features and construction. While not exceptionally knowledgeable about generators, I believe I know quality when I see it. After my last (and much smaller) generator died only 1 day into a 2 week power outage due to a severe ice storm, I knew I needed to do better. With electric and even remote start, this is a much anticipated gift to myself and my family. It's also large enough that I hope (appropriately I believe) to power everything needed in my house with the possible exception of the heat pump. If I want to later, I understand I can also purchase a soft start kit for that that is supposed to limit the start up current to a level that this can handle. Once I finish wiring my breaker panel for the inlet box and installing an interlock kit, I'll look forward to the next power outage!

I order this generator on July 5th and it was delivered on July 8, very quickly. Hooked up to propane tank and it started on first push of remote control button. I have not used it to generate power yet. I purchased this portable generator for emergency hurricane conditions.

This 9500 will run my entire house as long as the heater or ac is not on. The AC or heater causes it to bog down and the next size generator up would get that job done for sure - I just could not spend that extra money. I can run all my lights, TV's, appliances, phone chargers, etc... and run several small room electric heaters all at the same time, no problem. If I did not live out in the country where I have well water - the well draws a lot of juice, so without that it may be enough to run central air or heat. I did end up having an issue with the generator - it was a warranty issue. The customer service technician was extreemly nice and helpful. I was preparing for a winter storm that was on the way - and the issue with the generator was a problem. The rep helped me through the issue. He litterally told me "lets get you through this storm, then we will get your generator warrantied". And that is exactly what he did, and what happened. Good machine. Good warranty. Great customer service. Thank you Westinghouse.
