I purchased this model after several months of research and video watching. I compared this model against several other brands that are on the market. The price point and features was the determining factors that lead me to buy a Westinghouse. Only time will tell on the performance and longevity of this product.

I was tired off power outages so i decided to do something about it. I decided to purchase the portable WGEN9500DF generator. I had my electrician install a 50amp generator connection outlet because I really wanted to have enough power be able to power my boiler in winter or my hvac unit in the summer and along with a few other small appliances. This generator did not disappoint! Plus with the added bonus of being duel fuel you can't go wrong.

We have been looking to replace our last generator that finally died a few months ago with something that could handle more power and was dual fuel. Last outage lasted 5 days. Never again, this one has the power, the features, is solidly built, was a breeze to put together, and we are pleased with our purchase.

We bought a generator because we live on the coast and hurricanes are becoming more frequent. It arrived on time. It started up right away. The key fob also worked the first time and it will be so convenient when/if we ever have to use it!!! Love so far

I have been using an old Coleman 2500w for several years. Once I decided to update, I chose the Westinghouse 9500W DF. So far, so good! Way more power than I had been used too. Not as loud as you would expect for a generator this size. Tires are a little disappointing just being plastic, but I can change those out anytime. Very happy with this Genie!

I just bought this 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with the ease of use and the energy output as well. It gives us more than enough power to run our well pump, water heater, fridges, freezers and a few other things as well. The remote start is a great feature as well, we don't even have go outside to start it!

We live in the People's Republic of California where they turn off your electricity on a moments notice out of fear of fires - even the day after it rains! Anyway, I just got the WGen9500DF delivered. The product set up easily and was easy to get working and generating power. I was worried about the noise but is quieter than the Generators the neighbors have. We will be able to run our major appliances off of this and will have lighting and a degree of "normalcy" with this generator when the boobs in Sacramento turn our power off again.

When first power on it appeared to work fine, after about 15 min. it started to surge as if no fuel. Unable to rectify problem......after several starts at least 6 times....it sounded like it cleared up and was running normally....will have to monitor

With all the research I did to determine which way to go, I'm very satisficed I went with this generator. It was very easy to put the final assembly together. Anxious to start it up I attached it to my propane tank and it fired up right away, plugged in a few lights and we were ready to go. The cart made it very manageable to maneuver even with the weight of the unit. The oil supplied with was a little shy of what was needed, but I was aware of this from previous views of reviews that this might be the case. No biggie. Its nice to have confidence that in the moment of a power outage, I will have appropriate backup with a unit that is with reasonable noise levels while running too.

Easy assembly, clear directions, on-time delivery, started on first crank. $250 cheaper than Duromax ordered at same time, and MUCH easier assembly and startup directions. Everything is better on the Wgen, even the handles. Powers whole house except a/c. Be aware that professional set up of interlock switch costs almost as much as the generator itself.
