I Like this product; the auto start is awesome. I have one question though that I seem to can't find the answer to. What is this item that is hanging from the engine, does it go into something or is it just an antenna? See the photo and please give me an answer.

I've had the generator for almost a year. I've only had to use it once and only for a short bit, but it can definitely carry as much amperage as advertised. I keep it charged up and exercise it every 2 to 3 weeks. Suddenly at almost a year and however, the starter is acting up. It's got enough voltage as I've checked the battery, not a full 12 volts but almost 11.5. it pull starts and runs with no problem. The remote, which was working for both starting and stopping now only works for stopping. Not a remote problem related to the starter issue because it tries to engage just won't turn the motor. Time will tell if Westinghouse will stand behind it or not.

I had read several reviews of portable generators and this one definitely was on par with the reviews. It will be a welcome addition to our household when the power goes out. So far, it has powered everything we have tried with little strain. I would recommend anyone look into this model. The price is excellent.

I RESEARCHED FOR A LONG TIME PRIOR TO PURCHASING THIS GENERATOR AND ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE WHAT SOLD ME ON THIS ONE. I JUST RECEIVED MY WGEN9500DF AND AM I IMPRESSED! THIS MACHINE IS EVERYTHING THAT THE REVIEWS SAID AND MORE. MY FAVORITE FEATURES ARE THE DUAL FUEL AND THE REMOTE START. NOT SAYING THAT I WANT THE POWER TO GO OUT, BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT!!!

Brought a WGen9500DF from Amazon after losing power for a week. Shipping was quicker then estimated. Easy to setup and run the remote start makes it Extremely easy to start and turn off started right up on a 20lb propane bottle planning to have gas company tie it into my 500 gallon tank

Bought this in July 2020 and it's a beast. Big and heavy but not too loud and delivers consistent power. Bought in July and used once in power outage for about 2/3 days with no issues. Run about a gallon or so gas through it once per month to keep it fresh and ready to go. Electric / remote start is money $$

I just purchased and did a trial run. It was an easy set up and I was able to run my 4 ton AC and air handler, several lights, two refrigerators, garage doors, some receptacles, and one electric burner on cooktop. My hot water heater drew too much amperage, so if I need to use that, I would just need to switch off the AC for a little bit. Total amperage on A phase was 35 amps and total amperage on B phase was 25 amps. With a 40 amp generator main breaker, I still have a little room left to turn a few more things on.

Last winter we experienced six power outages so we decided to purchase a portable generator that would provide enough power to supply all of our home's electrical needs during a complete loss of commercial power. The only draw back is leaving your RV plugged in and you can't remote start or shut off unless you turn off/on the circuit breaker. So early mornings you still have to go out in the dark and cold to start it up. Unless there is a trick to this situation. Which I haven't found yet. Otherwise it is working awesome for our 50AMP RV. Still haven't used full potential. Maybe another review after using both AC units!

Tested it out today! Powered everything in the house we would need if power goes out. Been thinking about getting one, this was the highest rated for what I would need. Won't need to use much, but best peace of mind purchase for the money I have ever made in 53 years!
