I had bought this generator on hurricane preparedness week (TAX FREE) and never opened it until the morning of the hurricane. This was my first generator i ever owned and operated it was easy to use after reading the owner guide provided with it. remote on/off feature is awesome we had inlet box installed by license electrican with interlock kit. This generator ran 2500 sqft home for 5 days with no problem remember you just can run everything at same time. THIS WAS LIFESAVER FOR ME AND MY FAMILY

Purchased this unit at the recommendation of my electrician to be connected to a transfer switch in the event our power goes out. I live in Florida and it's part of my hurricane preparedness for our new villa. Assembly was quite simple. One small issue was one bolt that attaches the vibration leg was crossed threaded but that was quickly corrected. Followed the instructions hooking up battery, adding oil (which is a plus they provided in the box) using the supplied funnel (that was easy with the funnel provided). Attached the propane tank, turned on the switches and hit the start button twice. It fired right up and ran smoothly. After running for about 5 minutes I plugged in some electric tools and everything performed as expected. Turned off unit and restarted using the remote, hit the start button twice (as instructed) and the generator again came to life. So far I'm pleased with my purchase. Like the wheels, remote/elec start, the fold down wheelbarrow type handle and the available outlets.

I am pleased with the ease of operation for the fact this will be easier for my Wife to start up in the event the loss of power does occur. I do like having the option of the duel fuels , but having the lpg tanks on hand for the fuel will make this much easier for her !

I bought this generator in March 2021 and have been waiting since October of last year for it to come in stock. The features and specs will be enough to supply us power in an emergency situation, which in the area I live is often. We have ice and wind storms that frequently knock the power grid out, causing us to loose our food supply. This generator will supply our home with an added security not to be 100% reliable on Duke Energy.

I bought this several months ago after losing power to my home on Christmas eve. Fortunately, at the time, I had two strong teenage boys to carry water out of the basement 5 gallons at a time so our basement did not flood due to the sump pump being out of commission. This feller can help us turn what could be a miserable, long night into an easy 5 minute, "GOT YOUR BACK!" Runs nearly my entire house.

We purchased this generator a little over two years ago and it is great. We live rurally in a location that often loses power and we love that the duel fuel option allows less frequent trips to refuel during extended outages. It's also just as easy to start/run for me (small woman) as it is for my husband.

I bought this about 2 months ago so that I can connect it to a transfer switch that was installed on my house. Easy to start, easy to connect. Powered the whole house (thought the load was reduced on purpose). Dual fuel is a dream for a stand by generator since you don't have to worry about a gummed up engine that has been stored all winter.

I purchased this generator to replace another aging Craftsman generator that I have had since 2004. I live in Florida and need to have a reliable generator that can power my entire home during power outages. This one fits the bill. Gas or propane can power this generator. I hired an electrician to install a power box next to my electric meter and two double throw 50 amp circuit breakers in my existing power panel in my garage along with a generator interlock switch. Now, instead of running extension cords, I do the following to power my home using the Westinghouse generator. Turn off the main power switch (next to electric meter) to my home and then turn off all of the circuit breakers. Move the interlock switch to allow the generator circuit breakers to be used. Flip the two newly installed generator circuit breakers, and plug in the generator to the power box and turn it on. Then, I turn on all of the circuit breakers for my entire home one at a time. Everything in my home has power. This includes all rooms, appliances, and the central A/C unit. Way to go Westinghouse!!!

Purchased the WGen9500DF a month ago for back up power at my house and am so glad I did. I live in a very wooded area and the power goes out quite often. The awesome features on this model include the dual fuel capability, electric start with remote Key Fob, and multiple data display modes. This unit runs very steady, does not vibrate and is very well balanced. It's the perfect size to keep my wife and me comfortable in our home. A good friend of mine was so impressed that he's already purchased one, too.

Living in Florida, we have to anticipate the hurricane worst and so far this is looking like it is going to be a great answer to our situation. We are older, so looking for something that even my wife can handle, and she's ecstatic. Happy wife, happy life!
