We received the generator in mint condition, and started to use it right away. We were extremely impressed with the simplicity of the set up and how well the fit and finish of the unit. We opted for the WGen9500DF. It only makes sense to purchase a dual fuel generator, considering that sometimes it's extremely difficult to storage gasoline, but not with the propane setting. If you leave in a coastal area prone to tornadoes and hurricanes, we strongly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.

We did alot of research for a generator that would suit our camper. We needed a 50 amp hook up and 6500 watts to run our 5th wheel. The optional built in generator was on back order, this unit has filled that gap. Seriously doubt I will even consider the factory one when it becomes available. Not overly loud, runs smooth and powers our needs for off grid camping. There are alot of choices out there, trust me, we researched them all. This is the unit what we recommend if you need camping power.

We live where trees seem to lean toward the power lines no matter where they are on our road.We had at first contemplated putting in whole house permanent set up, but the house we bought was already set for a portable hookup, so i scoured the internet for a really good generator that had our needs in mind, and guess what!? we found it in the wgen9500dfc. We have been on a waiting list for about 1.5 years to buy a generator. We live in a rural area where power outages can be frequent and long-lasting. We had tried to purchase a generator last year, and every store was sold out. We had it installed professionally by a master electrician and are extremely happy with our purchase. During the test, it started flawlessly on the first try using the conveniently included fob. We will certainly recommend this machine to friends, neighbors, and family. We will be able to face the next power outages with much less concern than previous ones.

I've been wanting this generator for a while and finally made the purchase. I've known several others that have had Westinghouse generators for years and each of them have had nothing but flawless operations from their generators. Looking forward to years of the same with this one!

I bought this generator on September 4 and just received it. In the process of assembly now but I'm sure it will be a great generator based on my research. I'll be giving it a preliminary review of 3 stars only because it is not together and running yet.

For a long time I thought about getting a portable back up generator for an emergency. After researching and comparing, it came down to two generator. The Wgen9500DF and a competitor with the same feature. However, the Wgen9500DF had two features ( my wife liked a lot) the other brand didn't have. The Remote start and the smarts switch box. I bought this generator after the winter storm 2020 hear in Texas. Also they expected the rolling blackouts during the summer so not wanting to be without electric power we decided on this generator to run the whole house. I have tested the generator running the 30 amp twist lock outlet on A wet dry vac and jigsaw and reciprocal saw with no problem. Have not wired to the house yet but will give a follow up review once it is completely connected.

I spent many hours reviewing generators. Ended up purchasing Westinghouse 9,500 dual fuel. Delivered within 3 days. Unpacked, put gas and oil in. Hooked up the battery. It started immediately. The battery and oil came with the generator. My son and a friend seen it and both ordered one.

After Hurricane Beryl, definitely needed something that can handle the job of powering a whole house. After doing the research, this definitely made the most sense both price and features wise. Feeling more confident the next time we have a power outage.

We bought this generator to supplement our power needs during an outage. We use propane in the country and bought this model because of the run time and fuel flexibility. The size is just big enough to run our two freezers, furnace, and some other essentials. Easy setup out of the box. Only took 20 minutes to setup and get it running. Love the fob feature/electric start too.
