A heavy unit but does the job! For assembly, it's easierby flipping the unit sideways to install the wheels n stands. Hook n it runs. Have not tested it for full house power supply yet, will come back to updated. So far so good! No more worries of power shutdown by the tyrants. We got our own power and we stand up for our freedom!

I bought this before the hurricane season started and boy am I glad I did! I was a little reluctant to purchase this size because of the weight and bulkiness. Westinghouse scored on this production as they thought of most every detail before producing.

Had been looking for dual fuel generator for awhile that was affordable, big enough to run most important household electric items & easy to use. Has remote start as well as push button. Haven't had need to use yet. Will also get electrician to install plug in so even easier to use

I added oil then fuel, connected the battery and it started right up. While I was doing that, an electrician was installing the plug in and wired in to my electric box. After that was complete, he showed me which breakers to turn on/off. Did a test run. It powered the entire house, HVAC, frig, freezer, well pump and lights. I did not try to run the dryer or stove at the same time as everything else.

Box arrived undamaged. No too difficult to install wheels and feet. Adding Oil was easy, connected battery, adding gasoline was a bit messy. Needed starting fluid using gasoline(not propane) to get initial start. Runs smooth, powered simple 120V items so far. Next test is whole house with transfer switch.

We lost our Cabin in Butte County during the California wildfires in 2020. We are just starting now to rebuild. We only have our pump house working. PG&E hasn't gotten power hooked up for us yet because we need a structure and have to be living up there, so we use the generator to run the pump when we are there. It was easy the first time. We like the option of the DF this allows us not to drain the tank each time. Propane is a great option.

I upgraded to this unit from a ~30 year old 2500 watt unit. Got tired of running extension cords throughout the house. I also had an electrician install a 50 amp receptacle and interlock in my existing panel along with a natural gas stub to run the unit. I have run it a few times already just to test everything out. Was able to run the whole house with no problem. I specifically bought this unit to use with natural gas during power outages simply because I did not want to have carburetor problems that are possible with traditional generators. I also ran it off gas just to make sure everything works. I like they have included a carburetor drain screw to help there is no carb gumming (ethanol is some nasty stuff if you leave it in equipment). This generator is very well worth it. The only slight nitpick I have is when running on gas, the tank doesn't fully drain. I tried running it out of gas (and it was on a level surface) and there was still a bit of fuel left in the tank. Not a huge deal for me since I plan on only using natural gas.

On the plus side, the generator started first attempt with the electric start. I expected the battery would be dead and require a pull start. The down side was that I decided to upgrade to 05W-30 oil for cold temps. I bought one quart which is what was provided and it was not enough to fill the generator. So, I had to go back to the store again to buy more oil... What a pain. If the generator continues to work well or I hear from Westinghouse regarding the oil volume I will consider upgrading my rating.

I bought this a week ago. I Thought it would have to be returned. After putting wheels on , oil , gas , tried to start it several times and would not start. I did all the steps and nothing. Tried to take out spark plugs as recommended it would not come out. But that was due to the cheap nothing tool that came with it. Used a craftsman spark plug wrench came right put back in started right up. Run great. I think it will be a good purchase. Haven't put load on it yet will do another review after I have it connected to the house. In the process of installing a soft start my home ac. It should run the whole house. I did try propane also ran smoother then gas.
