A number of neighbors had a Westinghouse generator in operation during the recent hurricane here in SW Florida. We did not have one. They all recommended this brand as to operation and reliability. This model has it all, with the dual fuel, dual and remote starting, and the size to operate our home in the event of loss of power.

Just delivered, box was split open on both sides. One of the vents on the rear of the generator was dented. Found small black pieces of plastic on the bottom of the inside of box. Other than that it looks good. Have to get some fresh gasoline and fill propane tank and get it running. I'll update review later.

Bought this Nov 2022 as a precaution for winter and wound up using it within a month -- glad we made the investment! Easy to use - just read the directions and follow the steps. We used it primarily for keeping the fridge and chest freezer cold - worked great and only had to run an hour at a time every 4 hours or so. Just get some heavy duty extension cords and run them straight to your appliances. Noise was not more than expected. Wheels are a great feature for moving from place to place. Also delivered straight to our doorstep. Thanks!

Just came in a few days ago and started to put it together today. Quite easy installation and easy directions to follow. I really love the remote start and after 3 times turning over, being it's not started before, it fired right up. Ran fairly quiet for this big behemoth of a generator. I must say that it's a great generator for the size.

The generator came with a container of oil, so after I added the oil and a little fuel, I pushed the start button and it started right up. I have not used it under load yet. To tell you the truth, I hope I never need it. I live in Florida so I bought this in case of a hurricane. I have it set up so I can hook it to the main breaker so I can run the stuff I need to run. I plan on testing it out soon and will write another review.

This generator was very easy to set up, and is simple to operate. I did get help in setting it up, but appreciate that it will be simple to operate going forward, which is an important feature for a novice user like me. I like the option of using any of 3 fuel types.

Wires from battery have to be connected, dump in the oil, and then gas it up. Started right up and handled everything I threw at it. Rubber caps for the outlets were a little loose and don't seem to stay on well. Also one of the wheel mounts is slightly bent but it still rolls. Other than that, it's looking good. Will use it a lot on the next few weeks.

Easy to take from box, put together, and fire up. Pretty quite for running on pump gas. Have not tried propane option yet. Remote start from inside the house 30 yards away works flawlessly. The very first initial start up takes a few cranks. Just a heads up for anyone reading this have bought one or plans to. That is expected on anything brand new until primed up. After that ever time push the remote start or on the unit its self, first crank and its running. Runs the whole home perfectly.

After hurricane Beryl ripped through Houston we were out of power for 6 straight days. We asked around which generator was the most reliable based on others experiences during that time and found that the Westinghouse was the most reliable generator from the pool of people we spoke to. Out of the box this generator is easy to assemble and very movable. We did buy a tent for the weather when operating but I recommend storing in the garage. The only weak point of this design would most likely be the battery. I will most likely replace the battery for a higher CCA rating and add corrosion resistant product on the terminal. I'd also wrap the wiring near the battery with electrical tape for added protection.

I bought this in anticipation of severe weather. It is compact and is deceptively heavy. The frame and wheels are sturdy making it relatively easy to maneuver even with it's weight. The step was simple and easy to follow as were identifying the various power portals.
