Works as expected

Only owned it for a couple of days, with an average of 12 hrs into it and it has worked with no issues. I used it to connect my welding machine to weld some rails and it never even glitched. The automatic FOB is an added plus, very happy with my purchase.

WGen9500DF

I bought this for home back-up and it was better than I thought it would be, it was easy to assemble and had it running in no time. this is easy to monomer and can be stored easy. I would buy again and will recommend to a friend. the dual fuel is a big plus for me, you can switch from one to the other with ease. great buy for the money

Great generator!

I bought this just before the last winter blast that went through our state. Our last one was a gas only Troy-Bilt 5500 and while it works, it only has the pull start and it takes so long and so much effort to start that I was just done worrying as to whether I'd be able to get it to work when we needed it. This one has remote start, push button start and pull start as a backup! Plus it can use gasoline or propane with an easy toggle! Love this!

Awesome Generator

I have been through numerous hurricanes here in south Florida the past 40 years. This generator is an upgrade from my previous and has plenty of power, dual fuel, electric start and comes with everything I need. Assembly was easy and it started right up. Highly recommend!

Started right up, needs parts not included

I fired it up on propane and powered some house circuits. It started with no hesitation. The manual is bit un-organized, mixing warnings, setup, and operating instructions. Discovered I need to buy extra parts for operating at high altitude (above Denver) but the parts are not available.

WGEN9500DF

I bought the Generator before Hurricane Season based on the 50 Amp output and Dual Fuel Ability. I could not beat the price for such a Quality Generator. I have test started and it is QUITE. Hope I never have to use but living in Florida my Family and I are 100% prepared.

Excellent Generator - Started on the First Try

I bought this unit because California has insufficient power generation and when the system load peaks out (like in a heat wave), rolling blackouts happen. On top of that, I live in a rural area where brush fires are common and whenever one is within 20 miles of me, the local utility kills all power. So the 9500DF will be my source of house power during these times. I received it today and opened the box by cutting all four corners and exposing the generator. Installing the front feet and the wheels was really easy. A 10 mm/13 mm wrench is supplied in the package but I used a small 10 mm socket to attach the feet. It's easier and quicker. I added the one liter of oil (supplied) using the offset funnel (also supplied). Connecting the battery only requires attaching the plugs together. I then checked the starter operation with the Start button (it turned over after a couple seconds delay). Then I used the remote to check the starter. Push and hold and about two seconds later, it turned over. The remotes are pre-paired with the generator by Westinghouse - nice touch! Finally, I added about three gallons of fuel, turned on the fuel valve, and pushed Start. The engine immediately fired up and ran smoothly. I could not be more pleased with this unit. I have an electrician coming in about a week to install a 50 Amp Transfer Switch. Once that is done, I am ready for the blackouts. I really like this generator. It makes slightly more noise than my old Generac 4 kW unit, but it is not objectionable and I doubt my neighbors will complain since we are on two acre lots and they are not all that close. I will post additional information I am connected to the house.

Ready to go

Unboxed unit which was well packaged and secure. Individual items like oil, tool pack, instructions manual, etc were in sealed bags. Filled with oil, and adequate amount of gasoline, checked battery after connecting plug-ins. Pushed start button after turning engine over by pull rope to lube engine, started up immediately. Ran until gas was depleted and electrical outlets tested with lights as load. Very satisfied with purchase, seems to be ready for backup duty in the event of our next power outage.

Easy Assembly and easy touse.

Just bought this. It ran my 13500 btu a/c, my refridegerator , wi-fi 3 lamps , a fan, and TV using natural gas. Easily runs the entire house. Not that loud running it on natural gas. It weighs around 200lb. but found it not that difficult to move around. Only assembly is the wheels and the resting pads.
