I haven't completely put this through the paces yet, but I'm sure it's going to be just fine. I loaded up with a few corded power tools and an air compressor, and it didn't skip a beat. I bought this as a home generator, and now I'm not dreading the ice as much this year.

I haven't put this generator to serious use yet, but if the long term results are like the initial impression I will be super happy. It's very simple to set up, the built in battery maintainer is worth the five stars alone, the push and remote start are super convenient. It had no issues starting on gasoline or propane. I bought this at the recommendation of my electrician installing my transfer switch.

Very easy setup and operation. Remote start is a plus. Have already tested this generator and it supplies enough power to run the entire house and AC. Runs about as quiet as a generator can get. Very pleased with this product and from a company that stands behind their product!

The WGEN9500DF is a awesome generator, easy to set up and starts right up.This is a heavy duty generator and well built. I haven't got to use it yet but I know it will do a good job. This generator replaces an older 5000 watt unit, the new generator will run the whole house. Can't wait to use it. Remote start is a nice feature.

Purchased a WGen9500DF after a lot of research. Major requirements were price, fuel economy, being able to use gas or propane and build quality. Product design and documentation have been well thought out. On first use with gasoline and using key fob the unit started on first start cycle. I use a transfer switch on house and power 3/4 horse power water pump, septic, 2 refers and freezer, 12k split air conditioner , computers, lights etc.. No issues and unit has not labored at all. Plan on installing a propane tank to fuel the gen as we can loose power for a week and can't get to a gas station for gas . Recommend this be put on your list for consideration.

Received this generator today. Was packaged well and set up was easy. Only minor issue was that one bolt hole for the feet was not threaded well and can not get the bolt in. But I was able to make due. Tested with propane and remote start and fired up right away.

Purchased in November for a rural farmhouse. Did a load test and it ran the fridge, lights, stereo, electric floor heat, mini split heat pump and even my well pump at the same time. I did turn off the electric water heater during the test, afterwards it powered it no problem. So far I'm very happy with it. I was disappointed when the power didn't go out during the last ice storm, maybe next time!

Westinghouse WGen9500 Home Backup Portable Generator, 12500 Peak Watts This came well packaged and looking great right out of the box. Easy to put together and function. I was impressed with the quality of the materials used and attention to detail. The battery comes with a charger, but the battery was ready to go once I finished the quick start guide. Initially I hooked it up to a 20lb propane (LPG) tank, and it fired up on the first press of the start button. Disconnected the propane and put 2 gallons of gas in. Started up perfectly on the gasoline. I then plugged in a few power tools and it had plenty of power. Finally, with regard to noise level, this is a large generator that operates on average about 70-75 decibels about the equivalent of a lawn mower if you are standing next to it, as do most generators in this class. I could not be more pleased with this generator.

In Texas the power grid is not always reliable. We sometimes have sudden blackouts that last for hours. In the 2021 Snowmeggedon we were without power for five days. My new Westinghouse generator provides me with secure power now. We're on a well and my biggest concern was to be without water during an extended outage. No more. Now I can count on my generator. The generator is easy and intuitive to operate. It has the output we need for the well and other home systems if needed. The controls are easy to understand. I love my new generator!

I purchased this after much research and waiting during a busy hurricane season. I received my new generator a few days ago and got it assembled (literally 10 minutes) and started it up using both gasoline and propane this evening. It ran like a champ and I was surprised that it was as quiet as it was for such a powerful generator. I am almost looking forward to our next power outage so I can use it to power the whole house. Intended setup: Propane run using two 40 pound tanks 50 Amp connection to the main panel using a lockout. Electronics in house protected by UPS
