The Westinghouse WGen9500DF is powerful enough to run most of the house and is built solid. The remote start is convenient and yes the generator is loud; however, this to be expected for a generator of this size. The WGen9500 DF offered some of the best power and features for the price. Easy assembly and started up the first time.

Unit seems well designed and easy to set up and use. I have worked on engines for over 40 years and this one runs strong. For a little more i purchased the dual fuel unit which is wise. The shipping box needs more Styrofoam to protect from shipping damages. Excellent value.

Just unpacked this unit today. I am very pleased with everything Ive seen so far! Packed VERY well! extremely easy assembly! Looks to very well built. Even has a nice tool pouch for the included tools. Was happy to find a quart of oil and small funnel included. Bought this unit due to high reviews, wattage rating ( house back up ), and the dual fuel ability. So far super happy with this unit!

I bought this generator after using the 5300 to run our house after hurricane Laura. Other than initial setup and run I haven't loaded it down yet, but initial setup and run was butter and can't wait to use it for the house. This made a lot more sense than a fixed house generator for a fraction of the cost.

I bought a Westinghouse power washer almost two years ago. The 3 year warrany shoes pride in the product by the company. I have used it several times with no issues. Now I have purchased the Generator for the same reason, 3 year warranty. It was also priced well for all it includes. Dual fuel, electric start, remote control, and it is very quiet compared to my old generator. It also looks great.

I just now got it set up. A friend who just recently got a more expensive one was amazed at how much better this one is. It is so powerful, has dual fuel capacity, a remote starter, easily transportable and starts right up with remote. I am so pleased with my purchase.

This generator took about 45 minutes to set up. Great easy start, runs equally well on gasoline and propane. More quiet than our old Briggs & Stratton generator. We have been able to run one of our central air units as will as all of the required lights on our 3700 sq ft home, 2 refrigerators, hot water heater a couple of IMac computers, Internet, 2 TVs. I bought the this because my wife wanted a backup in case we lost power for an extended time. Put together, filled with oil, topped off battery charge and checked everything. Then attached to propane and it started right up. Whole process took less than 30 minutes. Ran it for about 1 hour with no problems. Only gave it 4 stars because I haven't put a load on it and I only just got it. I expect and hope that it will deserve 5 stars. W

We bought this to replace a manual start 5,000 watt Generac which we used with extension cords. It will connect to our box after the electrician installs the interlock and receptacle. We're in the five hour break in period and it starts and runs as expected.

Instant start on a 25lbs propane tank. Powered nearly my entire house including 3 ton A/C. Haven't tried with the water heater on, but ran everything else just fine. Remote start works from inside. Hooked up with a 50 amp receiver into electrical panel. Must have item for hurricane season. Don't hesitate, sleep good knowing you're prepared.
