Looks like a GREAT generator

received a week earlier than initially projected. Packaged really well, all items intact, even includes a wrench for assembly, spark plug wrench, oil, and a funnel for the oil! Started right up, i used propane to test it out. I think this is a very good purchase with the tri fuel capability and all.

Plenty of power, Westinghouse quality

My wife has been after me for a few years to set up a generator for back-up power in our house. Last year there was a big snowstorm, but fortunately we only lost power for a few of days. We did end up having to throw out hundreds of dollars of food, though (refrigerator not powered). As this winter approached, I figured it was time to get that generator. The electrician that set up our panel interlock suggested the Westinghouse WGen7500DF. They were out of stock of this model, so I went ahead and got the larger generator. The electric start feature is great. I love that it generates 220. This plus the extra watts allow us to leave all the breakers on in our house (except my Tesla charger, which is finicky about power) and not have to worry about scrimping every last watt to avoid overloading the generator. We have gas heat, water pump, and stove, but we're able to run the heater blower fan, any lights we want, the TV, Internet, a computer, refrigerator, and various lights. And this thing will pay for itself in a few years just in the savings from not losing food in the refrigerator. The only negative I have is the noise. It really is quite loud compared to some of the smaller, inverter-style units that some of my neighbors have.

Great Emergency Generator

After the Feb 2021 Texas freeze, I purchased this great generator and hooked it up to the main living areas of my home. Although not powerful enough to run my HVAC systems, it definitely works as intended, running space heaters, All kitchen appliances, tv and internet, hot water, etc. Nice generator for the price.

As advertised

Purchased to take to South Louisiana after hurricane IDA. The electricity was out almost 3 weeks and the generator ran perfectly powering lights, fans, refidgerator, freezer and even an electric hot water heater. Very happy with the dual fuel and the battery start. If the electric panel was not so old, I believe it would have powered practically the whole house. (Excluding the central AC unit).. Very satisfied with the purchase, very well made, heavy duty....

Awesome

I bought this over a year ago. Worked great. Only used a couple times but ran my large home with ease. On Monday of this week I decided to start it just to exercise it. It would not start. Long story short , I called Westinghouse service Monday, had the new switch Thursday, and I am up and running.

Perfect For My Remote Home

9500DF is the perfect solution as a power backup for my remote home. I live in a remote area at a higher altitude, which experiences power failures during winter months. This generator gives me the confidence and security that I can keep my home warm and powered during these times. The dual-fuel option is an added bonus, as I have both available.

So far so good

The first generator was delivered damaged. An exchange was requested without issue. The new one arrived and the packaging was in way better shape than the old one. Upon inspection, everything looked good. I followed all the start-up instructions, and it fired up straight away ad ran perfectly.

Rock solid, runs like a champ

This is my first ever portable generator, and am very impressed with how easy it is to set up and use. Rock solid construction, starts right up, runs well. It is a bit on the loud side, but that's to be expected. I really like that this model has dual fuel options, it can run on gasoline or propane. I find it a lot easier to store propane that gasoline, but it's great to have the gasoline option in a pinch.

Fast and and furious

I ordered and it said to expect the Generator by Jan 31. I ordered it on the 13th and it arrived on the 14th. "Fast" Opened it up, set up was easy, and started up without issue. Same size and weight as my old one but more than double the power! "Furious" I will do another review after a year but happy happy so far!
