Three weeks ago, I made the prudent decision to purchase this generator. Recent power outages have demonstrated its value, as it successfully powered two refrigerators, a television, a window air conditioning unit, and two lamps, with ample power capacity remaining.

I bought this due to a power outage (we had an ice storm and power was out for two weeks!) and this generator is a BEAST! I purchased a 40 gallon propane tank and with that and a full tank of gas I was able to have heat, hot water and television the entire time the power was out.

I live in rural Nova Scotia, Canada and we experience frequent power outages. I have it hooked into my panel via a 40 amp Generlink. This baby runs both fridges, the water and septic pumps as well as the hot water tank, water softener, lights and all the small appliances. I can also run the electric heat but only room by room.

Tri-fuel was important to us as when we lose power, gas stations are closed and we don't want to store large quantities of gas in our garage. The natural gas option provides us endless power for long durations. Electric start is great, plus it has a battery charger to insure it is always prepared.

I have been waiting for a few months to order one, and I finally got it! This generator seems to be built well and takes about 5 minutes to set up. One word of caution, they do not provide enough oil to fill this generator to the proper level. It would not start due to low oil, so I had to run out and buy more. As soon as I added another half quart, which brought the oil level up to about half the dipstick, it fired right up! Voltage and frequency both run a little high with no load, I assume this is to compensate for when it is under full load. I have not been able to run it on full load yet, but I think this will handle anything you throw at it. It is loud but better than most portable generators I have been around, and I work on them for a living in the military.

Very sturdy frame yet still easy to move. The frame allows you to grab it in so many ways to load and unload, and the wheels are easily installed to make it even more portable. Great for camping or just to have around the house in case the power goes out.

We bought this a month ago after a recommendation from a friend who had the same model and was very happy with it. We have an 1800 square foot home and with an electrician have wired it so all we have to do is flip a switch if we have a power outage. It is powerful enough to run everything including the water heater, except the range and air conditioner.

We are so happy to have purchased this generator. Its compact size and different fuel options will make it easy to be comfortable during our next temporary power loss event. Instructions are straight forward and simple. Price was right too. Thanks Westinghouse!

I'm very satisfied with this generator. It feels well built and has all the extra features I was looking for (50amp outlet, GFCI plugs and an electric start as well as a pull crank manual start). Having dual fuel capability also increases its versatility.

I bought this generator because the last snow storm we had knocked the power out for over 15 hours. Being a family of 6, many dogs and cats plus being a farm owner with horses and chickens, I can't have my property without power. We chose this generator because it has the option of running off of propane and gas. We haven't had to use it in an emergency situation yet. But, we are currently needing to use it to power a space heater for a chicken that is currently recovering from an injury. This product has definitely helped so far!
