This is my second Westinghouse portable generator. The first generator has worked flawlessly over the last 4 years and this larger, dual fuel generator appears to be even nicer, with many added features. It started right up out of the box (after adding oil) and everything tests out perfectly.

This monster delivers everything I need. The electric start is super nice. The key FOB is a nice added touch too. Even though the propane delivers a slightly lower output... it's a clear win and makes this unit clean and easy to use. I bought the dual fuel because I like options, but, connecting a tank and pressing a button can't be beat. It auto chokes itself when using the remote starter which also makes using this a treat. Happy with my new toy

bought generator after a bad storm left us powerless. We lose power quite often in our area so i thought it was time to get a generator that could power the whole house. Right out of the box fired right up and went to work with no problems. Powered the whole house for 3 days without missing a beat. Powered entire house!!

The Westinghouse 9500DF generator arrived earlier this week, and so far it appears to be a great machine. The assembly, operation, maintenance instructions were very clear and accurate. The safety warnings were valuable, too. Even though it was shipped dry, it started up pretty quickly after oil and gas were added. The electric start is flawless. I know I can count on this generator to power my well pump and all necessary household devices when needed during an extended power outage.

I've seen other generators that looked similar. Was not impressed. I expected better from Westinghouse, and was not let down. Everything about this generator is better than anticipated. The instructions for assembly were easy to follow, and the generator was up and running in no time. I would highly recommend this generator, and in fact have, to a neighbor.

Recently bought this generator for a home backup power source and very happy I did. Once I completed the assembly process and was able to check out the actual operation of the generator I knew I had made an excellent choice. Love the electric start and started on the first run. Have used a pull start generator in the pat and the electric start is one of the best features out there. Also, the larger wheels and the pull handle make it much easier for myself to be able to move it around as needed. Highly recommend this generator for a home backup generator.

We bought this after a major storm because we were having difficulty starting our old generator. What a DREAM! PUSH BUTTON REMOTE works great! Also, the included trickle charger really keeps the battery ready to go. Best generator I have ever had (This is #5). Cannot recommend more!

We connected this to our whole house using an interlock in our breaker box (1 story, 1,700 sq ft) and it was able to power everything (including the 2 ton central AC unit. (We did not test this with the washing machine or dryer running). It works well and was easy to start.

Purchased om 4/29/22. Arrived undamaged with no missing parts. Easy to assemble. Tested eng/gen on gasoline and propane. Started right up and ran fine on both fuels. When my electrician friend has time we will set up feeding my house with the 50A outlet, thirty foot 3/6 cable, 50A breaker in box and safety interlock for isolating the generator power from the utility line. No longer worried about power outages.

I haven't had an chance to really put the machine to real use but the set up was easy, I used propane for my fuel and it started right up and ran well. I ran a couple of power tools and that went well. I purchased this unit for back up for my house but haven't got transfer switch installed in the house yet to see how well it works for that. I haven't seen anything to lead me think it won't go well.
