Great features!

I am happy to have this model. It has some great features, including an electric start with a remote and it is more powerful than any other generator we have had in the past. We added a 50-Amp outlet in our garage just so we could use that option on the generator!

Great machine!

Just received the generator. Easy assembly and started perfect first time. The remote start is a great feature and very convenient for me and my elderly mother. Look forward to many years of confident use during Florida's hurricane seasons. I strongly recommend this product!

Quality Product

So far very happy with this generator. Easy set up. Love the remote start feature. Ran a test run on the house and all was good. Seems fairly quiet for a generator of this size. Very happy. NOTE: Purchased for power outages during hurricanes and have not yet had to run for an extended time.

Excellent Value and Features!

Bought generator 1 week ago, arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble few required items. Started on first try with electric start and key fob made starting and stopping from inside house easy. Generator puts out good amount of power even on propane. It is pretty heavy and is harder to move around for those of smaller statue. Noise level is louder than would like, noisier than some generators but quieter than others.

Built Solid!!

The first thing I noticed about the WGen9500DF was how solid its built, heavy duty. I'm in the industrial mechanical world and this generator has heavy duty hardware, components, and is built to last. Even the product manual tells me they know what they are doing, they mention ethanol issues and show you how to drain the gas/lines to avoid issues. Clear break in instructions and maintenance periods with explanations for each. Designed for easy maintenance. This all is what impresses me most because nowadays most products are not like that, they are built cheap and they don't care to tell you how to get the longest life from the product. Next thing most are probably concerned with is noise...its not unusually louder then any other gens, I've owned others that are definitely louder. Its has a good solid purr and sounds like a healthy engine. I set it about 50' from my house and inside with the TV on it sounded like my neighbors mowing, not bad. I only run NON ETHANOL gas in my small engines, that and the way this gen is built i feel it will last me a lifetime of use. Cranks right up and makes power, only other features I care about other than above. Thank you!

Start button stopped working

The product seems to be the best high power duel-fuel generator on the market. But the electronic start was flaky from the beginning, would only turn on after multiple flips of the on/off switch. Within 8 months the electronic start stopped working altogether -- the manual start is working fine.

Heavy Duty gen set

I bought this to power a RV with 2 a/s units. It doesn't even grunt when the compressors kick in. The remote key fob start is definently a plus. I think this one will last a long time as it is very rugged. I might also add it is a heavy unit so plan on having help if you need to load it. I am happy with it so far.

Great features

I purchased this to replace a DuroMax single fuel gas generator. I got tired of gasoline storage problem resulting in difficult start, so I switched to WGen9500DF to run on propane fuel. I'm very impressed with the remote electric start feature, much nicer than pulling on a recoil cord inside a space-limited shed. One look will tell you that this generator is well built and fit/finish is impressive. It's full of features and is ready to accept Westinghouse automatic transfer switch, if you wish.

9500tfc generator

I bought this for emergencies should the power ever go out at the house. The majority of the house is ran on natural gas so I feel as this will get me by with the basics. It was nice because it pretty much came with everything you need, including a battery tinder, besides fuel

Solid Machine

Just delivered this morning in perfect condition. Put the feet and wheels on (do this first as you may need to tip machine on its side to accomplish this), filled the oil and plugged the battery cables together. Hooked up the propane cylinder and turned the fuel selector to "propane". Turned engine switch to "on" and hit the remote start button. Engine cranked over and... nothing. Engine cranked over again... nothing. Hmmmm. Scratch head. Oh, open valve on propane tank, duh. Hit remote start again and it popped right off! Tried a few of my power tools and I had power. Make sure breakers between the 120 V outlets are pushed in (reset). Have not run it on gasoline yet but expect no problem with results I've had so far. It seems like a well built, solid machine. For a dual fuel machine with fairly high output it is it is very reasonably priced.
