I bought this last week. Very easy to assemble right out of the box. I did it with no assistance. It started up easily. The setup for pairing the FOB was simple. My electrician set up a transfer switch for 50 amps. It worked seamlessly from Power shut off to generator. Very happy so far.

I purchased this in light of power outages due to hurricanes and severe storms. Bought it after hurricane Beryl and it is Hot here in Texas. This machine has good reviews and a lot of features. Looking forward to seeing it in action. It is a great looking machine!! I pick this one for the dual fuel and power.

I bout one and ad to take it back. The customer support man was great even though it took six calls and waiting for a couple hours to get through. I also had to drive an hour one way to take it back. I did order another and it did work so far. I'm just now going through the breaking in the engine and oil change. I will have to update review later. One thing is, I lost a day but did decide to give them another try. That should be cause for a discount or something. It was over 200 LBS and I hurt my back loading it by myself and still paying for it!!

The WGEN9500DF generator is exactly what I was hoping for. I was impressed with the overall quality, looks and features this generator has to offer. The dual fuel option and electric/remote start made this purchase a no brainer, which allows my wife to start it without having to pull a starter cord. The 9500 to 12,500 peak watts it supplies is more than enough power to handle all the major items in my home. The initial setup was easy to follow in the instructions. I used a propane tank from the grill for the first startup instead of gasoline and it started on the first try with the remote starter. The generator was not as loud as I thought would be and it ran great for the time I had it running.

Nice and cost-effective alternative to paying thousands for a larger stand-by generator with installation costs. Large enough to run much of what you need during an extended power outage. Dual fuel option allows flexibility to run on gasoline or propane, which allows you to run longer before running out of stored fuel. After living through hurricanes Ike and Harvey, I wish I had one of these sooner.

We experience the worst wind storm that has ever been experienced in Middle TN on Friday, March 3rd. Our area was without power for over a day due to shear winds that ripped out power poles and pulled trees down on lines. We had just completed having an auxillary breaker box wired into our home. I should mention that we are also a small farm that raises waterfowl and we had several incubators running during this time. It was so easy to push the smart button and continue to have power in our home during the outage. The unit is a dual fuel and runs very efficiently on LP. We are extremely happy with this and know have the peace of mind to know that we will never lose a batch of ducklings again due to a lack of power on our farm! Thank you Westinghouse.

I want to love this generator but the motor seized up after roughly 30 hours of use and I have only had the product for 12 months. I changed the oil at the recommended break in period and followed all other guidelines according to the user manual. According to the manufacturer's warranty I have to pay to ship the unit back for repairs! Now that will be expensive and seems like a punishment to the consumer.

I brought this generator just in time for the deadly ice/snow storm in Virginia on 2/2021, my very first use was during a 4-5 day power outrage. Great satisfaction, easy starting (remote control), great on gas. This was not my first power generator, so far this is" the top of the line." Thank you

Easy to setup and get running. Purchased to replace a smaller generator for power outages. Have not had any outages since purchase but have tested several times and generator runs everything we want during a power outage. Dual fuel option and good reviews was a major reason for this purchase.

I have been meaning to buy a generator for a long time and now I'm happy to have one! Westinghouse has a long history of reliable products so I look forward and trust in this new generator. We live in an area with fires and earthquakes. Our power has been shut off before for safety concerns when Highwinds threaten the powerlines. We also have electric cars so I am very excited to have this back up generator for our home.
