AFTER RESEARCHING AND A VERY LONG TIME OF WEIGHING THE PROS AND CONS OF ALL THE GENERATORS OUT THERE, I KEPT COMING BACK TO THE WGEN9500DF. I JUST RECEIVED IT TWO DAYS AGO, VERY EASY AND QUICK TO SET UP. IT STARTED UP QUICKLY WITH THE REMOTE FOB AND SWITCHED EASILY FROM LP TO GAS NOT MISSING A BEAT... THIS GENERATOR IS MUCH QUIETER THAN ALL OF THE OTHERS I'VE HAD. I ONLY GAVE IT A FOUR STAR BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO PUT IT UNDER LOAD. I'LL COME BACK TO GIVE IT ANOTHER RATING AFTER I RUN IT UNDER LOAD. AT THIS POINT I DON'T FORESEE IT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS....

Purchased unit, delivered on time no pkg damage. Assembly was very easy and straight forward, everything fit together as designed. This unit is a great value for a whole house backup gen to connect to a manual transfer switch. Comes with a battery charger, spark plug wrench, propane hose and regulator, engine oil and funnel and wheel kit which is easy to assemble. Unit is clean, well built and runs well on both LPG and gasoline.

I purchased last month as we live in southerner Texas. We do see some power outages . It arrived in good shape. I put it together hooked the lp and three spins it was running switch to gas and the same three spins and it was running. I then hooked it up to my golf cart care charger and let it run for 1 hour the voltage held solid at 240 to 241. What a great generator sold as anyone i have ever had and I have have own 4 in my life time. thank you Westinghouse Mel.

I just received my new generator and I am impressed by the dual fuel options. More important it is so easy to start with the remote or the push button. While you still have the option to pull start, it is awesome that you do not have to. I am going to purchase another for my mom.

This years hurrican season is estimated to be a busy one (2020). I bought this generator after researching generators and found this model to have the features I was looking for. It is dual fuel and has enough watts to run everything we'll need during a power outage.

We received our Generator yesterday - followed the instructions for setup using propane and tested the remote fob. It worked each time and the distant for remote is good within the insides of our home. Excited to have a backup generator for our home for the next power outage as we live in the hills and power goes out in Summer and Winter here.

Bought this generator recently after doing a lot of online research. So far it is measuring up to my expectations. The build quality is really good. Setting up the generator was easy. Tested it with a 30amp cable to power a few devices. Also tested with 50amp cable connected to the house - easily powered our refrigerator, microwave, and all other appliances/lights/etc on the sub-panel. Love the electric start and fob for remote start/stop. The fold down handle and sturdy wheels make it easy to take the generator in and out of the garage. The only issue i had was that the battery came with quick-connect wires, while the manual referred to a different set of wires. Not a big deal though.

I bought this to replace a generator that I've had for 20 plus years that quit working. I use it as a backup to power what I need in my house when the power goes out. When I got it home I unpacked it and assembled it according to the instructions, which took about a half hour. If you follow the instructions you should have no problems as they are easy to follow. After assembly I fired it up using gasoline. It took a few seconds for the gas to work it's way from the tank to the engine but when it started it ran very smooth and was quieter than I expected (much quieter than my old one). I then switched it over to propane while it was running and it didn't miss a beat. I then checked the electrical output and everything was in spec. Overall I'm very happy with this generator. It seems well built and should serve my needs for a long time.

It's only been a couple of weeks since I purchased this generator but I was pleasantly surprised to find a pull rope on the motor. Based on the website information I couldn't ascertain or see the pull rope but this gives me an alternate option to start the generator if the battery is dead. Since this generator will serve as a temporary backup in case I lose power at home, I will have to come back and add comments after its use after evaluating its operation.

I bought this item in June 2021. It shipped without damage and the instructions and features are well written and easily understood. If I had a complaint it would be the time it took to arrive at my home. I ordered the product June 8, 2021 but it did not arrive until July 16, 2021. (no biggy though)
