This dual fuel generator with electric/remote start is the perfect fit for us. Yes it is a beast for an old guy to move around, but the features it has to offer outweigh that. It performs exactly as advertised and buying it online was without problems. The price was affordable for our situation. 5 STARS

We live on the Gulf Coast of Texas and wanted to purchase a generator with a good amount of power to protect against potential power outages during hurricanes or tropical storms. I researched many brands and models and found the Westinghouse WGen9500DF had the features I wanted at a good price. It has Remote Start with a Key Fob, Electric, or Recoil Start. The Westinghouse engine runs on gas or propane and can easily be switched from one to the other. It has a variety of power outlets. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Absolutely amazing generator. Starts on the first push of the start button. The key fob works great from inside my home. I have a 1400 square foot home with a 2.5 ton unit and this generator handles it all. It's a little noisy but quieter than what you would expect from a generator this size. It's heavy but easily movable once you install the wheels. I couldn't be happier with this generator!!!

We upgraded our manual transfer switch to ten circuits from six and needed a larger generator. After researching several manufacturers I was sold on the reviews from other purchasers. This WGen9500 DF is well made and designed for ease of maintenance. Very impressed with the control panel and accessory items included. The battery and grounding lug are easily accessible unlike by older generator. This is my fourth portable home standby generator and this is by far the most well designed.

I bought this to use as an alternative power source for my home in the event of power loss due to hurricanes as I live in Florida. The product is very high quality, started right up. I love the electric start feature and the duel fuel capability which is very simple to change from gas to propane as necessary.

Bought this generator a week ago, and just took delivery of it yesterday. Very impressed with the build quality and features. Very stout looking generator. Started up on the first try with propane. Not as loud as I thought it would be. Going through break in process now, but should handle everything I need it to.

This is the 6th generator I've purchased over the years. Living in the middle of tornado alley our power goes out quite often. The Westinghouse 9500DFc has been by far the best one of them all. The 9500 is more than enough to run everything we need during our power outages. The remote start just pushes this generator over the top.

Been testing it for a month now in prep for the 2024 storm season in FLA. Started first time on the pull starter and both the electric start and the key fob remote also worked first time. Electrical output is clean and consistent on the DVO meter readinga. Have yet to try the dual fuel feature but very pleased with the performance of the unit thus far. Service points are easy to access and the consumable parts are easy to source. I especially like the spec sheet/quick reference chart that comes with the unit. The compact footprint, solid wheels and easy stow handle make tucking it away for storage easy. We feel very prepared for this year's storm season.

Unit was competitively priced, it arrived earlier than expected, it was packaged properly for transport. The assembly of the unit was very easy. The unit started on the first try. Extremely happy with the purchase. In these trying times I want my family to be safe in any storms or power outages. A dedicated unit has an issue and the service tech comes to you, if a portable has an issue you can take it to be serviced. JJW
