Good, heavy, solid generator, a beast! I researched this unit for a month before I bought it, and so far it is all that was advertised. After putting the wheels on, I installed the oil (included) per the manual, reviewed all the startup procedures, and it fired up immediately with the electric start, as well as the included remote start 'key' fob. I tested a few small items--a space heater, some lights--and all worked perfectly. This generator charges the battery through the battery's cables, but the set also comes with a separate plug-in charger similar to a phone charger, and the battery can be charged from a separate source. As heavy as it is, this generator was not difficult to move around, as the wheels are situated under the heaviest part, and rolling it is similar to lifting a wheelbarrow. All in all, I'm not looking for another hurricane here in Florida, but I'll be ready if it happens.

Purchased last month. I love all of the features, especially the electric start. Our old pull start generator was difficult for the rest of the family to start, in case of emergency. Very satisfied with this purchase. Works as advertised and built sturdier than expected.

This actually has understandable instructions for ltd. assembly and for starting and usage. Very "woman" friendly. I live in a mountainous area that loses power for week at a time in winter sometimes so this generator with a Generlink allows me to power the whole house rather than to be confined to fire heat and candles because it has large wattage to handle the job. PLUS it has a little remote control to start the unit with from the house. What a plus. I am SO happy. Oh, and a handle to moving this 300 lb unit is a snap whether you are big and strong or not!

Bought the dual fuel generator for security and peace of mind we can weather any storm and power outage that comes our way. I can crank it with the push button start without waiting on husband to crank it. Hope this will last for years. Feels solid and well made!!

So far so good... after a call to tech support to learn that the battery cable wasn't connected when it left the factory. That's ok, it was for shipping, but it should have been mentioned in the manual or a tag attached to the cable. I had to get a neighbor to manually pull the cord to start it but it took a call to tech support to find the real issue. Anyway, CS was real good and now it works like it should.

Was worried about the weight but it was shipped on a small pallet which made it easy to put on the wheels. Had an electrician install a transfer switch on the outside of my house and the generator was able to power the whole house include the AC. Happy with this purchase.

I bought this recently, and have been very happy with it. We live on top of a hill and are prone to losing power in bad storms. I pop the generator out of the shed and can run a couple of fridges, lights, and our phones off of it. So happy, and it happens often enough, I am putting in a transfer box to make the switch-over even easier. I really like the remote start/stop. I can run the generator for an hour or two and turn it off from the couch!

Came by special freight delivery due to the weight. The box was tore up due to handling, but everything was in good order. Super easy to attach the front legs before you add any oil or gas. You just set it on the end up and bolt them on. The wheels are a breeze as well with just axle and a safety pin. I'm not going to use gas just propane so I don't have to worry about the gas going bad or gumming up a carburetor. I've got a 500 gal buried tank next to my shop in the back of my one acre so I'm going to put a connection for propane there. I added the whole container of oil that came with unit and hooked up the regulator hose to a 20lb propane tank. Then connected the battery cables and flipped the battery switch to on & pressed the start button on the remote fob. It tried to start then 2 seconds later it tried again & fired right up. The only thing I wish it had on it like my smaller 3500k generator, is a economy button to run at slower rpms if there is no load or a low load. This one seems to run at full throttle since I haven't put a real heavy load on it yet.

Just purchased but the instruction guide is clear and am eager to setup and start using. Purchased this to run a small cabin with a well pump. Will be building a small shelter for it and I expect the remote start to be very handy. A little surprised the propane connection is a standard hand screw connection whereas other dual fuel generators Ive used in the past have a quick disconnect. The build quality looks excellent and packaging is robust. Eager to get it started.

I bought this recently and of course had to test it out. So far, it works great! Shipping and delivery were super fast. Ordered this on a Friday and got it the following Tuesday. This is the first generator I have ever purchased, but my husband needed one for his company. So far, this is doing the trick.
