I finally feel like I am protected in case our power goes out again. We live in the country so when we lose power we not only have no electricity, we have no water or toilets. I am excited that this generator will work on either gas or propane, that makes it very easy to get a fuel and store fuel for longer periods of time without it going stale. I did a lot of research and this gets very good reviews so I expect to have a good experience with it. I has good instructions that seem very clear.

Purchased it for the future to power our home with all the crazy storms these days. Arrived in perfect condition and easy setup and startup. Little did I know I'd need it two days later. Lost power for 18 hours and the generator performed flawlessly.

The WGen9500DF generator has all of the power and features we needed for our home. I can't wait to power it up. Need to purchase a 40 lb. propane tank and then I will be ready to go. The generator was easy to set-up. All I had to do is attach the front legs, the rear tires, and plug the battery cable together.

Generator finally arrive and what a beauty. Nicely packed and easy assembly (wheels and feet). I ran it on gas for an hour with a load of 2200 watts, then and hour on propane with 4000 watts (house and A/C included). Worked like a champ and voltage stayed at 237 volts at 4k watts. Could use to be a little quieter, otherwise a great unit. Would definitely recommend!

This is a reliable piece of equipment. It's well made, and much thought was put into it. The remote engine start is an amazing feature. It's very user friendly so you don't have to be mechanically inclined to use it-unlike my last generator. Thanks also for the oil and oil funnel that came with it. Yall really thought about the customer. God bless!

I received this a few weeks ago. It was in excellent condition. The unit assembled as instructed and the instructions were very good. The unit started and ran well. I have only used it for approximately 10 minutes so far and all appears to be good. I am pleased with all the features it comes with. I would definitely recommend it so far!

I purchased this generator online through the Home Depot. It arrived within 3 days. Unlike some other generators, this one came complete with lubricant, funnel, propane line, and a battery tender. The instructions made it easy to put together and it fired right up. Can't wait to use it!

This is my fourth generator and I've been impressed with the quality of this unit. The manual was nicely printed on bound vellum with clear instructions. The only information missing was the fact that the unit took a full quart of oil. Next, the wheels were no flats using ball bearings. The battery 2 pin connector was a stroke of brilliance and makes battery maintenance easy. The handle is the strongest I've seen yet and makes moving the unit over rough terrain substantially easier. I've never seen an electric start unit come with it's own charger and built in battery status indicator. I prefer using propane instead of gas and out of the box my previous units were a bear to start the first time. Not this unit! I hit the start button and it took off running as smooth as any engine can. I expected a generator this size to be loud and was extremely surprised that the sound turned out to be no more than my 20HP riding mower. I've only listed the major niceties and there are many more. Thank you Westinghouse for thoughtfull innovation on a generator.

We bought the 9500 tri-fuel since we now have Natural Gas. So far we are very pleased with it. Easy to maneuver, easy to start, reliable, and efficient. We are in Florida and hurricane season is now here. We bought a WGen 8550 'Dual Fuel' 4 years ago and it has been trouble-free and easy to use. We expect the same from the 9500.

After carefully and thoroughly searching for a generator, I kept coming to this one due to the ease of use, the great reviews and the remote is a bonus for my wife to use when I'm not home. It has everything I was looking for in a generator plus added things I didn't think I needed. I'll be ordering the ST Switch soon to complete the system. Very happy and pleased with this WGen9500DF.
