This impressive generator is an upgrade from a gasoline only 5.5 kW unit we have had since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. That unit has served us well but hunting for gas has been a struggle every time. The WGen came highly recommended and unboxing it I can see why. It has an amazing list of features and solid build quality that I have come to appreciate after living on standby power many times. Installing the wheels and feet was straight forward and easy with the included tools. After adding the oil shipped with it, I started and ran it on propane and natural gas using the hoses shipped with it. The control panel layout is intuitive and useful. The data center meter displaying voltage/frequency/run hours/and maintenance timer is my second favorite feature after the tri-fuel capability. I also appreciate the muffler and exhaust system. We feel a sense of relief and security knowing we have this solid source of electricity ahead of the next storm season.

I bought this unit to give my wife piece of mind. No need for pull start as we are both senior citizens and don't have the strength to deal with a pull start.All hard wired in and here is to hoping we never have to use it. Thanx for the fast and easy delivery.

Love remote start. Had everything put together in less than 1 hr. Started right up. I live out in country. Power goes out when squirrel farts. I have my house set up to back feed off the generator. Turn all my 220 off and it will run my whole house. I run 3 freezer and refrigerator at same time. It will run electric hot water heater too.

I purchased this generator prior to hurricane and winter weather season and did not regret my decision. It's gotten my family and I through numerous storms both during the summer and winter. The ease of use is extremely helpful and I like how it can run off duel fuel sources. I would highly recommend this generator to anyone looking to be prepared for bad weather no matter what time of year.

I picked up my new Westinghouse generator today and got it all unpacked and setup. I am extremely impressed with the packaging, design, and ease of assembly. I will be using this as a home generator as we get power outages frequently in Utah. I own other Westinghouse generators and I am overly impressed with quality and reliability.

We are very pleased with this generator. Attaching the wheels & feet, hooking up the battery, adding oil, getting the generator up and running was easy. It is not very loud, especially for a unit this size. It runs everything we need it to. We are happy we no longer have to leave our house during power outages, which occur frequently in our area. We highly recommend this generator.

Don't bother giving a review for the free gift. Fine prints says while supplies last. I guess they ran out many months ago if they had any to start with. Just another gimmick to get over inflated reviews for their products. Save your effort and skip the reviews.

Living in NH with the weather always changing and winters can be brutal plus all the snow and ice, wind it will be such a blessing to stay in the house and just push the remote. Our old generator was terribly hard to get going never went smooth with this generator is a godsend for people like us who are getting a wee bit older.

I bought this Westinghouse Generator in May 2024 for use at our outdoor wedding. It Great features did what was expected: worked fabulous for my outdoor wedding all the music and lighting lasting the anticipated 12 hours. It has since provided me with electric on remote areas of my farm. I'm very happy to have made this investment. My only negative is the weight of the generator. Michele

We just bought this generator due to our power going out. The power where we live has gone out many times. So thought it would be wise to have a generator for emergencies.. Heard really things about the Westinghouse generator. And plan on telling friends and neighbors about how good they are.
