I bought this a month ago, so far so good, I like the electric start. I tried it on propane and seems to preform well. I tried to use it with gasoline today and seemed to preform well. I did find a drip coming from the fuel shutoff valve. While turning it it appears to leak. the leaking stopped when it was off, however if you apply a little pressure to the valve it leaks. I'm sure it will need to be replaced in the near future, but if this is the only problem I have with it, that would be ok. Not sure if I'll do a warranty claim or contact them directly and request a new fuel shut off valve. They're simple to change.

I purchased this Westinghouse Generator several weeks ago as a gift for my sister & niece who live in a remote area with overhead power lines. Their power goes out often in adverse weather. It had great reviews. It well designed, well made was easy to put together the few pieces required. It started right up. Her electric power hs not yet gone out but I expect will work when needed & it has enough power to power the whole house or keep them very comfortable.

Easy to assemble and start running out of the box. Quieter than I expected it to be and the remote start works from a long distance. Started on the first try. Have not had a chance to run my house off of it yet but I'm confident it will with no trouble.

Drove nearly 3 hours to pick WGEN9500DF on 11-17-21. On 11-18-21, followed directions, prepped generator and tried to start it. Not surprised battery was dead, so I used the recoil start. Generator wouldn't fire. Pulled spark plug boot off to discover it was completely broken, even the lead, therefore, no spark. Can't rate this product any better as I don't even know if it works.

I bought this in Nov 2024 after a previous recent long duration power outage - I live rural, so no power also means no water usage. I'm so glad I bought it because we just had a power outage again last week. I had a transfer switch to my electrical box installed. This powered everything I needed it to during the outage - I was able to take a shower for work/use water, cook on stove, turn on lights, charge cellphones, keep the furnace running. Obviously, we were careful - used lights sparingly, didn't do laundry, or run the dishwasher, or use the oven. I bought this portable generator over a whole house one because my elderly mother was also out for a week in November. If she goes out again, I can bring this over to her so she can stay home instead of having to leave.

I have owned a LOT of generators over the years....but this thing, is absolutely incredible! It does things I would never have expected. I'm really just blown away. And the attention to detail, little things like the spark plug socket, the funnel for the oil, most places don't include that little stuff...it is definitely appreciated! I am more than happy with my purchase!

I purchased this product in a pinch. An ice storm knocked our power out and we were told it would be 5+ days to get back. I'm happy to say this thing helped us tremendously through a pretty nasty natural disaster. It ran for almost 6 days straight; stopping only to re-fuel and change the oil. I'd highly recommend to anyone as a quality product.

I got it 1 month ago as a backup power source in case there is a power outage. Following instructions, it is easy to setup (just installation of wheels and feet) in ~15 min. Hooking up and connecting to our house gas line is also easy with correct adapter. Starting the machine with a simple pushing button, it works as expected. I just tried twice (each 30 min) when linking to my house electric panel with a kit, it can power my house (lights, microwave, refrigerator, etc). Happy with it. Waiting for the next power outage.

Purchase this unit a few days ago after owning a smaller unit that I have had for a few years. With the on going power outages I needed a larger unit to handle the loads living in a house with well water and septic system. I know this unit will last a long time

I used a smaller running watt Westinghouse from my neighbor to run my camper on a camping trip. I enjoyed to power usage so I bought a 12500 watts to run my camper or House in case of a power outage. I also like being able to use the 30 amp or 50 amp plug.
