I just picked this up 3 days ago - I have tested it with a freezer and small drill to make sure it worked, hope it works well for my whole house if I need it. Seems to be well made and thought through. It did need a little extra oil - was not shipped with quit enough, but all good.

My previous gen was 3500W and when we lost power it struggled with 2 space heaters. This was nicely delivered and at 9500W will be a great improvement. Runs great and came with oil and funnel to install it. Easy to do the minor assembly needed (2 wheels and 2 feet). Care and maintenance manual included so internet not needed to see proper setup.

Just received, unboxed and simple instructions to put together. Had another brand for years and the Westinghouse is well thought out. Dual fuel is a must if its hard to get gasoline. Remote start if you want to shut off before bed and restart when you wake up. Digital volt/hour/Frequency/hour meter. Even the funnel has a rotating head! Highly recommended!

After hurricane recently knocked out power I said enough is enough I want to have a backup. I looked around and for the features power output and price this unit cannot be beat. My friend has another brand that starts with Gerer and ends with ac…theirs wouldn't even start for them. After comparing the 2 in their build quality alone the Westinghouse is definitely better, and some features aren't even available on theirs without paying WAY MORE. After getting it I setup everything hooked up a propane tank and it fired right up and purred like a kitten & it's really not that loud for its size. While I hope I don't need it, it's very reassuring to know that I have it when the inevitable time comes.

I purchased this mainly for a new build until I have electricity brought to the property. I needed the two fuel options (Gas & Propane) since the site is a bit isolated and wanted to make sure I have redundant options to keep operating. I have used this to power my welder as well and it does not faulter meeting the demands of the welder.

We bought this to replace a smaller Generac that served us well. But, we wanted to be able to power more; our water heater, well pump, even a/c, as well as our security system and cameras. (We're kind of remote, out in the country) It came in two days, perfectly boxed, no damage at all. The SAIA driver kindly wheeled it right into our garage. I used a small floor jack to jack each side up to install the wheels and foot pegs. Basically, it was unboxed, instructions read, and ready to fill the oil in no more than 20 minutes. I charged the battery for a couple of hours, although the indicator lit yellow from the box; I just wanted it to be well-charged. I added half a tank of gas for now, paired the remote, and it started up instantly. After ten minutes or so, I threw the main breaker and plugged in some lamps, etc., to see if it was working. The duplex plugs are all working fine. We'll be hooking this up to a 300-gallon propane tank soon, running 50A directly into the plug under our breaker box; but I wanted to check it out on gas first. So far, so good. I have little doubt but that this will be a great generator for some time to come. It's beautiful, stout, and seems very well-built.

Purchase this item for this upcoming hurricane season, always have to stay prepared in Texas! Honestly I couldn't have made a better purchase! Delivery was fast and they were able to place it in my garage. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

I needed this machine for the next time power goes out to run our well system. I had a plug box installed on the outside of the building which is run into my main breaker box. This generator was very easy to assemble and started right up out of the box. The remote control feature and the included battery charger was a definite selling point for me. All other generators this was an additional cost, It handles what we need very well.

Unboxing and setup was simple. One gripe was that there wasn't enough oil supplied to properly fill the engine. The battery came charged and started the engine easily using both gas and propane. There was a small drip coming from the fuel petcock, but went away on its own without intervention. Lastly, there should be a standard equipped energy monitor in order to calculate the amount of wattage being used so you know how much more load the generator can handle. Over all I am pleased with this product. I will leave another review after I have properly broke it in.

We bought this generator after losing power three times within a two week period and it really saved us. It has lots of power, is easy to use and seems very well built. It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble (my 16 year old daughter assembled it in about 15 minutes).
