Just took the unit out of the box and it won't start. Fully charged the battery with the trickle charger. Engine still won't turn over. Plus, it has no manual start option, so I'm dead in the water. Hope this storm doesn't cause the power to go out.

Just received my WGen14500TFc yesterday and put it all together. Added oil and hooked up propane to start the break in before hooking it up to house. It started in about 3-4 tries. I did run a couple shop lights and a fan on it and it did fine. Can't get the key fob to work at all tried several times. Also came with a scratch on the right-side valve cover that has the yellow oil fill screw cap on it not happy about that. Also, pretty disappointed that I can't order oil filters, air filters for it which are out of stock. Wish there was a part number I could get at my local parts store. I live 25 miles out in the country and like to have oil and air filters spark plugs on hand when I need them. I am giving 3.5 stars for now and will update this review once it gets the 5 hours break in and hooked to my house for final test run.

I bought the unit in anticipation of an extended power outage related to a forecast ice storm. Although the storm was less severe than anticipated and we never lost power, I'm thankful that I made the purchase, as this had been on my list for quite a while. I tested the unit recently and everything works great. Very happy with the product so far and this will reduce anxiety for any future extended power outages.

This generator is amazing! I switched to the Westinghouse from my old generator which could hardly run one thing at a time and the new Westinghouse can run pretty much my entire home. Love the push button and remote start, it makes everything sooo much easier.

Last year, I was not ready for 2 hurricanes in two weeks. Helene and Milton packed a one-two punch that left me without powrer (I live on the central west coast of Florida). My mind is at ease now that I have this generator. Portable, remote start and dual fuel options won me over. So glad I bought this.

We did not open the generator for several months after we bought it until we actually needed it. We had a small broken piece on the propane quick connect. Support answered the phone right away and was exceptionally helpful!! We are very pleased with our generator thus far!

Very happy with the generator. Assembly was easy and was limited to installing the feet and wheels, pouring in the oil (provided), connecting the battery. Poured in some gasoline (note the gas requirements) opened the fuel valve and started it . It started first time without hesitation. It runs very smoothly. I stopped and started it s few times using both the push button and the remote. Each time it started and stopped without issue. The generator is very sturdy, well made and relatively easy to move around with the handle that folds down out of the way when not in use.

We received our new generator early this morning and have it unpacked, assembled and initial start up. It was very well packed and it appears to be well made and very stout. It is heavier to move than I thought it would be (but I am almost 75 years old). It is relatively quiet as we could hardly hear it from out bedroom. I think we will need an enclosure for it so I don't have to move it. I hate to say this but I am looking forward to running it when we loose power.

When a Warm cup of tea in the morning with 7 degree temps becomes a luxury- you know your life has changed…. WGen12000 This unit was purchased as a replacement for a Generac- 8000W unit so we could have the option to run a significan portion of the house off a transfer switch. After the Massive ice storm of 2026 in Nashville- i have a real life report on the unit!! We were one of 3homes in our neighborhood of 120 homes that actually had power throughout the week of emergency shut down affecting 50% of the Nashville power grid! We had never used this generator prior, but I took it out the week before made sure it ran/was gassed up in the event that it was needed! we had three days of no power with temperatures outside of @ 7° Our neighborhood was abandoned as most people went to hotels- ourselves and maybe two other families stayed behind because we had made provisions for heat! can't emphasize enough how important having access to reliable power is - as I have told my friends- ‘when waking up in the morning And having a hot cup of tea becomes a luxury you know the parameters of your life have changed'. This unit gave us normalcy in the midst of chaos- it allowed us to run a 4 ton heating unit/gas powered, about half of the lights in our home, all of our refrigerators/deep freeze and our pool Utilities. At 7° if you have a swimming pool and you don't keep the water moving through the pump/pipes, it will destroy all of your pool equipment We ran this for @60 hours over the first few days until then power came back (a dozen homes still have no power)- 2 days later- we lost it again for another eight hours! Since then, I have done an oil change replaced the oil filter plugs cleaned the air filter- it's so well designed to accommodate maintenance- i did change the oil to a 5-30 synthetic and i add fuel additives to keep the injectors clean- but other than that - its straight out of the box The Wgen12000-ran Consistently in 0° weather For two days straight- I can't imagine Having a product that was more impressive Than this unit!! I wish all my neighbors had access to reliable power- its was really something to see a neighborhood of multi million dollar home abandonded!! In summary We ran almost our entire 7000' home with the exception of the washer/dryer, double ovens, microwave, Steam oven- And a few other appliances that pulled a lot of energy. We had all of the island plugs so we could use air fryers We could use All the countertop appliances from Vitamix blenders To Toaster ovens, hot water, all personal electronics and much of the fans/lights in our home This unit performed admirably - and gave us a sense of normalcy for my family while there was chaos in the community !!! I purchased this about a month ago to replace our 16-year-old generator, and I couldn't be happier! I love that it's tri-fuel—I've connected it to natural gas, so I no longer have to worry about finding an open gas station during a power outage. This has been a fantastic purchase!
