Purchased generator online 11/16/24, arrived on 11/22/2024. The unit seems to be very well built and started up immediately. I love the layout of the unit and all the safety features. We have not experienced a power outage yet. But when we do, it's nice to know this Westinghouse generator is here to depend upon.

I researched for a replacement for my burned out unit and of everything I saw this looked like the best of all worlds for a very reasonable price. The electric start is a life saver for my wife if I am out of town on business and she loses power. Terrific layout for controls and large fuel tank for extended outages.

I bought this Model #WGEN9500DFC westing house Generator that arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to setup and I found a post card that said I could get a Bonus Gift which is a cover for the generator if I filled out a review. Well The generator is a beast! I'm very relieved having this generator living in Florida with all the hurricanes and power outages. Good Purchase.

I bought this two weeks ago. There was some simple set up: wheels, feet, oil to add, (which came with the unit) battery connection, etc. Very simple. I hooked up LP, but there's also a gas option. I started it remotely and it sprang to life. Powers the whole house - refrigerator and furnace included - love it!

Purchased the tri-fuel after a hurricane left us without power for 1 week. Have not had to use in a power outage yet but it looks solidly built and able to handle our major appliances with AC unit to keep us going. Having a plumber install a gas line hook up this week.

Assembly was SUPER easy two small legs and two wheels needed to be put on. Added oil and gas, hit the start button and running awesome. Only thing I found to be useless was the remote start. You have to turn the power on for the remote start to work, well the push to start button on the machine is right next to the power on button

I bought this earlier in the year, tested it, and then put it away. I got to use it for real last week after Hurricane Milton rolled through. I topped up the battery just in case, and it fired up on the first button press. The day after Milton I connected the generator to my 50A inlet and I was up and running instantly. We had A/C, hot water, fridge, chest freezer, microwave, coffee maker, TV, and some lights for the entire day. With just the A/C (3.5 ton, set to 78 F), fridge & chest freezer I was using gasoline at about 0.5 gallon per hour or so. I refilled the generator in the evening, around 5PM (started it around 7AM that day). We ran the water heater for a little while with the A/C off just in case. As I was putting the generator away for the night, the power came back on. I wasn't even fretting it though, since we were quite comfortable with what we got out of this generator. My only complaint is that the generator is quite loud, but it's not really an issue when everyone on your street has their own going at the same time. Once inverter generators of this output class become more widely available, I will probably replace this with that.

I only gave it 4 stars because i have only ran my generator for 90 minutes. I ran it for a half hour without a load then i ran it an hour with a moderate load. I shut it off and immediately changed the oil. Lots of shaving and glitter. So far so good!

Gave my old unit to my daughter and decided to get what I really wanted, a dual fuel model. Read the reviews on the internet and concluded this was exactly what I was looking for. The power, ease of use, features and dependability are all top notch. Having extras like remote start, a built in hour meter/voltage meter/frequency meter are icing on the cake. Well packaged and everything included so it's ready to unbox and break in. The break in procedure is a little vague in the owners manual so I used the procedure that has served me well with my other small engines (30 minutes with no load then 1 hour at half load followed by an oil change). Did another 2 hours at half load and another oil change and then switched to full synthetic and the rings are seated and it's ready to go. It is loud and heavy but that's the price you pay for such a big unit.

While I haven't had a chance to use it yet, it is a very impressive machine. Packaging and shipping was excellent, and set-up is so easy a caveman could do it! All the controls are easily accessible, and the outlet covers looks like they'll keep the weather out. Never hope for the power to go out before, but if it does, I'm ready.
