Just came today and setup was easy. I hooked it up to propane and its fired right up. I'm going to run a line from my 500 gallon tank to this generator so I will have weeks worth of fuel. I live in northern NY where it gets cold and windy. This will run my whole house! very happy with my purchase!

I recently did some updates to my home's electrical system. One of the things I had the electrician do was to put in a connection to install a generator. I read a lot of great reviews for Westinghouse WGen9500TFc. The only assembly that is required is to put the wheels and feet on the frame, and that was easy to do. After that it was a question of adding engine oil and gasoline. My electrician assisted me in getting it connected to my house and running. I love that it has a both a push start button as well as a remote start. The ease of use is wonderful. I like that I have the option of choosing from three different fuel sources to get it to going. I honestly hope never to loose power but I am confident the generator will keep my house functioning if I do lose power. The attached handle makes this generator super easy to move when needed. I was also surprised by the fact that it is a quieter machine than others I have seen in the past. So far, I'm really happy about this purchase.

I live in an area that is constantly challenged by inclement weather. A portable generator is a must. My Westinghouse 9500 was easy to install and the electric starting feature is far superior to my old generator. Most importantly, I was able to run the central ac unit and two refrigerators. I feel very comfortable going into the heart of the hurricane season.

In just looking at the generator, I am comforted. The generator is a work of art and albeit heavy, with the wheels on, it is manageable for this almost 62 year old. I am very pleased with my purchase. The electrician even beamed at the generator and was happy to provide the correct connections. One of the plumbers said he had a Duromax, but I saw the sorrow of not purchasing the WGen 9500TFc in his eyes. Needless to say, another plumber is ready to complete the natural gas connections this week. I am excited for the choices os Tri-Fuel connection. This is my first generator purchase and I am educating myself to the fullest. Alright you hurricanes and ice storms, I've got the WGen9500TFc POWER and I'm no longer concerned about power outages any more!!!!

I bought this generator to replace my old one after hurricane and based on our experience it is a great tool for storm preparation. It's very easy to start, working on gas, propane and natural gas.For A/C 3,5 ton,it does put a heavy load on the generator when it starts however after startup ,AC runs well.

Great experience using it so far. Everything is labeled well and self-explanatory in how to operate the generator. Super easy to start with the touch of a button. It is quiet when running. Very easy to move around. I recommend using a set of ramps to load it into the back of a truck, as it is too heavy for one person to lift.

I bought this unit to replace the exact same model that I purchased in 2022 that was ruined during the flooding of Hurricane Milton in early Oct. 2024. This unit has a CO safety shutoff which the older model did not and quite frankly the sensor shuts the generator down excessively and the motor backfires upon restarting. The generator is located on our dock in the open air and CO is not a concern. I wish I had the old model back!

Just purchased a month ago and with the 50 amp output, I ran a cord directly to fuse panel in house and this thing will run 80% of my house without having to run extension cords. Love the features, the diplay and onboard battery charger. So far NO COMPLAINTS

We live on the Gulf coast of Florida and were affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton, suffering power loss both times. While a smaller generator got us through, it wasn't comfortable by any means. With this size we can power everything but the air conditioner. I like the tri-fuel capability. My wife works from home and lost power means lost wages. When I'm not home, it's a lot simpler and cleaner for her to start it up on propane versus gas without being obnoxiously loud.

I went from an older generator that failed me after a hurricane to this machine and it's a beast! Very well built and with a low amount of vibrations. I bought it mostly for the propane burning capability but will use gas if I run out of the other fuel. Worked like a charm right out of the box. Very impressed with it. I hate to admit this, but can't wait for us to lose power again in the next hurricane so I can try it out in its full glory.
