I purchased this dual fuel generator to provide backup power during winter storms and for projects around the house. After some minimal assembly and filling the oil, I started this following the directions. Using propane this generator fired right up and provided all the power I needed for the large weekend project.

I purchased this generator less than a month ago. Directions were very simple and easy to understand. I had generator running in less than 15 minutes. I put it to the test on day 1. Connected my 50 amp cord to the breaker box and ran everything we needed. Generator ran 2- 12,000 btu westinghouse mini-split systems, tv, dvr, lights, fridge, microwave, well, and hot water tank without missing a beat. Great product

I purchased the WGen9500DF to power my 50-amp travel trailer. I was very pleased with the minimal assembly and easy start-up, fresh out of the box. I enjoy the dual fuel option, and the remote start is an added bonus. I am really looking forward to putting this product to use this summer.

Received our new generator in January and now feel we are really ready for hurricane season this year. While it is dual fuel we will use solely the propane fuel to alleviate all the maintenance required with gasoline. Great product with easy set up instructions. I will update if we have to use it this year.

I bought the unit in anticipation of an extended power outage related to a forecast ice storm. Although the storm was less severe than anticipated and we never lost power, I'm thankful that I made the purchase, as this had been on my list for quite a while. I tested the unit recently and everything works great. Very happy with the product so far and this will reduce anxiety for any future extended power outages.

This generator worked great during the first use. Afterwards, I have been unable to get it to crank. I'm assuming gas was left in it when put in storage and it needs to be cleaned. This would be operator error. So I am unable to attest to the true quality of the generator itself. I know others who has had great success with using this same generator model.

Just received my WGEN14500TFc, I wanted the 20,000W but that was out of stock everywhere so very disappointed. Now Westinghouse is coarsing me to leave a review so I can receive my FREE 15' power strip “gift” so I am leaving them 3 stars. Deducting one star for not having my 20,000W model available to purchase and another star for coarsing me to leave a review to get the free 15' power strip cord. Will update review once I get my 14500 up and running AND when my free gift comes.

I bought this generator as a home back up generator and have it connected through my electric panel with a 50 amp breaker I have a 3200 ft.² home with an additional garage apartment that is 600 ft.². This generator is able to run my whole house, including three air conditioners. I have a 4 ton, a 2 ton and a 1 ton. The 4 ton and 2 1/2 ton are for the house and I put soft starts on them. The 1 ton is for the garage apartment with no soft start. I have used this generator during power outages, and it will start and run all three AC units as long as they do not start at the same time. I've had no issues with the generator stopping during AC starts. I just hear it changing to a low tone as more load is put on it, but it has never stopped. I would recommend this generator for anyone looking for a home power back up.

Set the unit up following easy to follow instructions. The included oil funnel made the oil install a snap. I hooked up my propane and I'll be doggone...it started on the first try. Totally convinced that this unit will be there for me when called upon. Glad I chose Westinghouse.

I just bought this to replace my Firman generator. I much prefer the control layout, especially the natural gas inlet. My gas hose is 3/4" so I have to upsize the inlet quick connect. The gas inlet port on the Westinhouse is right out in the open and very easy to swap out. The gas port on the Firman was PITN to change out. The 9500 Westinghouse is about the same size and weight as my old Firman 7500.
